    I have to agree with Bholthof.. It just terrifies me. The idea of pumping my body with a vaccine that feels like it was so quickly put together. I have never gotten the seasonal flu shot either so maybe that makes me partially bias. I dont know. I hate that this is even a big contemplation for all of us. I almost wish I was in the health care system and then I didnt have a choice. Choices stink So no... will not be getting it. Wash hands, blow nose and gargle with salt! I have also looked into some of the naturopathic remedies.

    I gave my gf (not a bmaid) who hosted my shower a gift but not my bridesmaids. I will give my bmaids gifts at the rehearsal dinner though

    yah I agree with Jess. My dress is a metallic tafetta and my girls dresses are silk/chiffon from jcrew. The bride is supposed to stand out, isn't she

    I thought about doing that but then found a pair of hanky panky's in the lightest blue color I dont know the shades of the colors you listed but I am sure one of them will be fantastic!

    I think the first one is so pretty and flowy and would be perfect for a beach wedding. With that being said, I would just let my mom wear whatever she wanted to. At least thats how I felt with my mom and FMIL - I gave them no guidelines and said just to wear whatever they wanted and felt comfortable in, be it a ball gown or a cocktail dress.

    Lori talked to Heather this morning.. said it was the best night of her life.. and the best man may or may not have stripped down to a pink speedo and blond wig. I am sure she (Heather) will give a full recap when she returns!

    It would be nice to do them before to get them over with, but my favorite part of the wedding is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time as the bride walks down the aisle. I really do not want to give up that moment, so ill just do pics on my own and with my girls before hand.. then we will do our couples pics together after teh ceremony. To each their own!

    Even if your passport doesnt get stamped they will still know you are coming from cuba b/c you have to have your flight number on your customs form and also have to tell them where you are coming from. I wouldnt suggest lying to the customs people!

    I was lazy too.. I went to this website:Bridal Veil: Standard fullness, 1 layer, elbow length, fine embroidered edge, 29-inch length (thats actually the veil I got). I ordered the color swatches first (free) and then I matched them to my dress and then I ordered that veil in the color I thought was best. Super easy and affordable

    I think that's just plain silly. Personally I think there are bigger problems if someone thinks trying on someone elses ring, or someone trying on your ring, is bad luck. I don't even get where this would come from! I say go nuts! My ring gets passed around regularily and I could care less

    I think I would like in too.. and would want someone from the US to ship to me so I didnt have to be duty (I think thats the consensus from the canadian brides). I would need 30.. not sure what colors yet. LEt me know when you know pricing info!
