We are at our wedding resort for 8 days with all our family and friends and then flying out to Cancun to the Excellence Playa Mujures resort for 7 days. We were going to stay at the same resort for two weeks but then it wouldnt have felt like a true honeymoon so we are moving

Gabriela told me that 430pm was the best time for us to get married so we would have enough time for pictures. Not sure what time the sun sets in March though. We will do seperate pics before the wedding and then the pics of our bridal party and us together afterwards. Not too worried about having alot of time for pictures of the two of us tho b/c we are doing a day after shoot with our photographer the next day. I think we are just paying for everything with our credit card when we check out.

Wow I am glad you had a great experience at Evalina Sherry.. I had such a dif experience. I just happened to get my dress there because it was $100 on the day of her big moving sale. The first time I went there it was on a tuesday (where you dont have to put down $150 JUST to try on dresses- most ridiculas thing ever) and liked some of the dresses but found Evalina quite abrasive.. when a vera wang dress I liked was a tad too tight, but was a sample so i had to buy it as is, she actually had the nerve to say to me 'but you will lose weight before the wedding right?' and I just looked at her and said 'um no, if anything i will be gAINING weight'. Totally turned me off.

Christabella I let the girls choose whatever dress they wanted in the color clover (the green of the strapless dress below). I have 7 girls and three are wearing the strapless, and then two of each are wearing the two dresses with straps. And yes, the dress im wearing in my siggy is actually the one strapless one. I wore it to a wedding last year-except the shade of green that year was more limey- and thats what made me go with the color and with jcrew: I think the dresses were $180, $170 and $165. I waited until jcrew had a 20% off your entire order code and then ordered them so that basically offset the shipping and customs. All the girls LOVE them and dont need alterations or anything. TeNeil- I know!!! He almost crapped his pants. And so did my mom. My FI just said 'I cant believe the cheapest thing you wear all week will be your wedding dress' haha Dani, I might be interested in the pashmina order. When would you order? We leave on Dec 24th..

Everyone we invited to the wedding we invited with a guest, regardless if they are in a relationship or not. IF they are travelling all the way to a destination wedding and spending that much money I think its only fair they can bring a guest if they want. If you REALLY dont want people you dont know at your wedding then just tell them not to come to the actual wedding, its one day of 7 that they will probably be there.

Everyone has dif taste so it really just depends on your taste. I think your dress already has alot going on so I personally wouldnt do a necklace. I would do earrings and a bracelet instead. Simple drop earings that would even match your bracelet.

I think its completely normal! I agree with Sammysgirl, the only way to find out what you want or like is to go try a ton on. Also look at the kind of dresses you typically wear and that will give you an idea to the type of style you like and that looks good on you. My wedding is in less than 2 months, I have been engaged for 1.5 years and I STILL dont know what I want for flowers or colors or anything.. so trust me, you arent the only one!

I went into S2 to look at dresses as well. they were very friendly but I thought their dress selection was pretty minimial unless you were looking for those specific designers. I budgeted $4000 for my dress (b/c I was going to have it designed and made by a canadian designer) and ended up spending $100 as I mentioned early. not too shabby. For shoes I didnt go the traditional bridal route b/c Im not a bride whatsover-other than wearing a wedding dress. I got a pair of studded gold ballet flats from freepeople.com. You will see them in my planning thread when I post it next month.

Im using a girl that my gf recommended and am actually taking it in next monday for my first fitting! yikes! She lives way in the south but thats alright. I wish I had known about kensington b/c thats so close to my house. oh well
