HI ladies i am hoping one of you out there has some advice for me. I am making boarding pass invitations and i wanted to wrap a ribbon around the pocket and glue a starfish on the ribbon. my FMIL said that the starfish would end up getting crushed in the mail. Hi bgirls, i have just signed my wedding contract w/ Vallarta Palace for 8-8-09. My confirmation letter stated that my WC would contact me 30 days prior to the wedding to finish all the details. 30 days?!!!!!! has anyone run into this problem? If so is there any way around it?

Hi ladies, I am hoping one of you out there has the answer to my problem. I am getting married at the Vallarta Palace on 8/8/09, They offer many ammenities if you book so many room ie guests book the rooms. If you have 10 room you get a free cocktail hour ect, the more you book the more you get. I have a bunch of verbal "yes's" from family and friends, but a lot can happen in a year and the ecomony isnt the greatest as of right now. The palace needs me to give them a number of how many rooms i want them to "block" for my guest. I cant get a straight answer from my travel agent as to if we would have to pay for those rooms if not all the people we expect to show dont. Has anyone come acrossed this problem? If so please share some advice.

I am having my travel agent set up the group contract for my guests. this way they can still go through her. I do know that this is a little complicated for her, but it seems to be moving forward. the only problem i am having is we need to have an exact # of rooms that we want to reserve for our group, they need that prior to setting up the contract, we are getting married 8/8/09, and i have a bunch of verbal yes's, but a lot can happen in a year to make people change their minds. I dont want to end up paying for those extra rooms if people change their minds. As far as the WC, i have not even spoken to mine yet. The miami office told me i would hear from her 60 days prior to the wedding day!!! I am concerned, but i really just want to enjoy this experience and i feel that no matter what happends it will be a beatiful event. I mean how wrong could it go if you have a beautiful beach, the people you love and margaritas?

I am so glad to see other brides are getting married here. I was a little nervous when i didnt see anyone on this site had chosen the Vallarta Palace we will have to keep each other updated. I also had a little trouble with the WC at the Miami office, but we locked in for 8/8/09 at 5pm. I know it is the rainy season, but it worked the best with our scheduels.

If they have the dress i gold i would say that you want to try on the gold on to see if you like the way it fits. Then look at the lable. bing bang boom, you got you answer. i would then look into other bridal salons to purchase the dress at seeing as these people sound like A#*holes!!

we are doing the groom and groomsmen in a tan linin suit with a white shirt and maybe a navy tie, we are not sure if we are going to do ties yet. Although now that you say it the navy would be a nice slash of color and not to mention that the bridesmaids will be wearing navy. check out the mens wearhouse. we got a good deal on CK suit. 50% off 199.99 each. We are getting married there! we have never been , but our good friends who travel often have been there and they said it was the best resort the have ever been to, and they have been to a lot.

we are getting married at the Vallarta Palace on august 8, 2009. We have never been but my FI's friend who travels like three times a year told us that this was the nicest resort he has been. he raved about it. we were nervous about going somewhere we had never been, but when you know someone who has gone there it makes the choice a little less scary. I also feel that as long as there is a beach and i can get a margarita, i cant go wrong. Please please let me know how your exprience goes.

I found i was getting sick after taking vit. in the am, the problem is not the vits themselves. you need to take the vits. after you have eaten. if you have some toast or even a glass of milk before taking them you wont get nausous.
