  1. hey ladies, I know a few of you bought your fans already, but I am having a hard time finding a post on where to buy the fans. Which place is better to buy the fans? Where are most of you buying them from? I know the size varies, so I am worried about that. Ortiental trading or blissweddingsmarket or Favors and flowers. Which is best for the palm leaf fans? thanks
  2. Hello Heather, Welcome!! It's nice to have another St. Lucia Bride. I heard all good things about them. The Marigot is on the North and the Jalousie is on the South. They both have beaches. It depends on what you are looking for. You can also check out any of the Sandals Resorts if you want. If you want all-inclusive. I heard all good things about them and I believe one of the girls are getting married at Sandals Grande. Good Luck planning...
  3. Nice dress looks great on you. I was considering that dress, but I thought it was a little too heavy... I still haven't made a final decision on mine and time is running out. I want to make a final decision my this weekend, but I am having a hard time choosing. I think I have too many choices..
  4. I love the look of your wedding party. That is the look I going for. Where did you by the suites and shirts? and Bridesmaid dresses. Nice picture... I got my MOH dress through tjformals.com as recommended by Morgan. You can usually find a 15% off coupon. We didn't pay tax or shipping nor any charge for plus sizes. I think they worked out to be $104

Anyone hiring a band in St. Lucia to play at their reception? My WC recommended a group called TEN-90. She has a CD in the mail to me right now, and I cannot wait to get it. Hey Kristy, I am actually have the Steel Band for my cocktail hour and I was also thinking of having DJ or live band for the reception. I haven't decided yet. Let me know how the music is. Are you having live music for your ceremony. I was also thinking about that? Still trying to decide. Still dress shoppping. I found a few I like, but I haven't pick the final one yet. I am hoping to make my deciscion by the end of this month, cause I don't have a lot of time. Hope all your plans are going well.
  9. Hi Liz, Congrat!! Let me know if there are any resitrations with customs. I was thinking of shipping some stuff, but I am not sure if I want to do that.
  10. Love your passport invites. They look great! I love the colors. One of my favorite... Congrats!!
  11. Nice job Kristy. They look great!! Must have taken a lot of time? I have someone working on mine for me almost done. I wish I could be that created. You guest will love them...
  12. Good luck hope that is the one. I tried on a few can't recall the name, but I do remember Ireland. It was very light and fit me really nice. I still want to look a little more. before I make my decision. Keep me posted..
  13. love that dress. Very cute... I will have to check them out. I have been driving myself crazy looking for tiffany blue color.
  14. Love those colors. My color is Aqua/white and Fushia. I was debating on the fushia flowers or orange to accent the theme... I am having a hard time find BM dresses, since ever manufacturer has different name/shades for the Aqua. I like the tiffany blue color...
  15. Hi Kristy, That is good news. It does sounds much easier. Glad it worked out. I am happy I was able to help. I went shopping about two weeks ago and also the same for me my first 12months ago. My second dress I did try on was a "Maggie Sottero" and my Maid of honor loved it on me, but I wasn't sure if this was the one. I need to be sure. I myself don't like buying on impluse I like to think thiings through and then make a decision. It would be funny if it is the same dress. What is the name of the dress you tried on? I did go to another bridal salon last week and love one that I tried on. That might be the one, but I want to try a few more salon within the next couple of weeks and if I don't find anything else I like i will make my decision on the two I like the most or loved... That is great. Lucky you... Yeah, i was thinking about what I will do if I want a traditional wedding album or something different myself. I did see a few ideas of books.. I still have time to think about that... It's going. I will keep you posted.... Hope all is well with you as well.. Quote: Originally Posted by Kristy! Hey Velda! I had only gone once before (like 7 months ago), but this time I was really ready to find something. I think I did! It's a Maggie Sottero. I have not purchased it yet, but I'm going back this weekend to try it on again. (I can't impulsively buy something like that.) I think this is it though. Yes, I will post pictures if it is. As for BM dresses, they're non-existent. At this point, we're not having a bridal party. If that changes, I would not have my girls purchase a dress. It's just not a big deal to me. Photography is one of my favorite subjects. I won my photography and videography from BDW! Kristi Klemens of KLK Photography and Paul Bennett of Blue Sky Videos will be flying down to spend 4 days with us. I'm so excited! I'll probably make coffee table books instead of a standard album, but I haven't thought more about it than that. I hope planning is going well for you!
  16. Thanks for posting. I was actually reading this yesterday. These are the things that we don't think about...
  17. Hi Kristy, I am still hear, but you are right we haven't heard much from the other two girls. How are things going with you? Did you decide on which restaurant to cater for you? I have started to look for my dress this month. Found one I love so far, but I still want to look around a little bit more to make sure there is nothing else out there. I haven't decided on the BM dresses yet. I am thinking of Aqua being my color. What about you found your dress and BM dress yet? I also have another question and hoping you can help. As far as your pictures did you book your photographer yet? After you get your digital CD are you going get them in an wedding album? Any suggestions or ideas? Hope all is well with you?
