  1. Hi ladies! So, I'm getting married on June 18, 2011 at Dreams Puerto Aventuras. I love music and dancing and will have lots of young friends coming to the wedding. I'm debating whether I want to have a dj or live band for the reception. I know that a live band is very expensive, but I still would like to get some quotes. As far as dj, I would also love to hear from you ladies about referrals. I was thinking about asking the dj to bring a percussionist to follow the beat of his music with the drums....I went to a bar this weekend, and they had that and it was awesome! Let me know if you can refer someone to me! Thanks

  9. I've been looking for a good map of puerto aventura....i've found a couple with the layout of the 'villa' but there is no locaiton for dpa....i want to include that on my invite and website...let me know if you find one
  10. I'm official a DPA bride!!! Woo-Woo.....just got the confirmation email from Jacy for June 18, 2011 @ 6pm....she did sent me the credit card sheet for the deposit but she never told me what the deposit is?? What do you girls think of Sascha Gluck?

Although i had a rough day today, both people who complained about my original resort - Zoetry - being too expensive (and that's why I am changing to DPA) - one bridesmaid just backed out from the wedding party, and her husband is FI's best man, so they will still be going. And the other couple, who both are on wedding party, just emailed me saying they don't know if they will come since they are also getting married next year... But, yes, I feel better with what you said, and I'm looking forward to your spreadsheet! My email is [email protected] just in case
  12. I am going to have my wedding @ DPA on June 18, 2011..I just emailed Jacy about it with my info. Here is the email from Jacy: "We are glad to inform you that the wedding date is available as follow: Wedding Date : June 18th , 2011 Time: 17:00 hrs (An extra $55usd will apply for ceremonies after 5pm)" So, now I'm confused, but I will just go with the 55 since i am not sure which package I want!
  13. Hi! So I Just called dpa to get the available Saturdays for may and June and they told me that in order for me to have a 6pm wedding I HAVE to get the ultimate wedding package... Really?

  16. Hi DPA brides!!! I have a question: I just received the wedding guide from Jacy and I'm soooo confused!!! there's so many choices....do you mind telling me what you chose and what made you choose? I believe we are having about 30-40 guests.... Also, for the reception it says there that we can only pick one appetizer, one soup, one main course? That doesn't make sense Are you doing a welcome/rehearsal dinner? Does anyone have a budget spreadsheet that would be willling to share I'm trying to figure out my budget and i'm so confused! HELP Thanks
