Ok so I get what TTD pics are...but when do you take the pics the day of the wedding or the day after? If it is the day of the wedding how do you not ruin everything else you had done (hair, makeup, etc) and is it always a different dress then your wedding dress? I kinda know someone, who knows someone who had a DW and she did it right after the ceremony and then changed but it was only 1 pic with the entire bridal party ...I thought it was weird to spend all that $ and everything be ruined 20 minutes in to the wedding... So what is the TTD protocol?

I have not been married there yet but I did go to see it and met with Natalie & Conroy (wedding consultants) they are SLOW there totally on island time and it is soooo frustrating. I thought after I left me deposit it would be different. I would suggest calling. They sent me an attachment with all food pricing and ceremony pricing it was on a weird program I had to have the guys at work print it for me I still have the email if you want me to email it you. The only thing is they were just bought by a Hilton i do not know if the pricing changed at all. PM me with your email if you want the menus with pricing

My Guest are paying $266 per couple per night all inclusive or $148 non all inclusive in May. I am not sure about airfare yet it got messed up

I was just in Jamaica the last week of June I do not have curly hair and I do not have straight hair. It takes a lot of product for it to curl and hours with the blower and straightner to make it straight. So I didn't want to check my bag so I brought NO product with me and honestly my hair didn't look good but it didn't look bad and for no effort I think, that is impressive. There was a cool breeze when on the beach and the humidity was really bad in the early morning but broke up through the day. I was in M Bay I am not sure if it is like that all over Jamaica. I was thinking of doing a side pony tail or just random pins making a half up half down look but not perfect looking so it will hide the frizz

Ok update to my drama...yes I over reacted but what bride doesn't right away once I calmed down I was much more productive So it is a good and a bad thing...my date is safe and my deposit stands...my room rates are not secure which worries me since that is the big reason I chose this resort. Menu prices are due to change but hopefully not to drastically...I am going to fight for the wedding costs since they told me not to contract specifics until closer to the date. Hopefully everuthing will work out which I am sure it will...it is just so scary being on such a tight budget and there is a chance of prices rising.

Yeah Chantix is a anti depression and drinkin gon it can be dangerous to your body and your mental state. A lot of people can not go on the drug do to all the side effects. That is one reason I stopped taking it I couldn't sleeo and got very ill minutes after I took it but it was a life saver the first couple of days I felt great and the nicotine cravings were minimium. I highly reccommend it but with doctors orders and no drinking. I actully spent a lot of $$$ on it (my insurance covers nothing) and upset I had to stop taking it

I am totally freakin out!!!My future Mother in Law left a message that Rose Hall Resort was just bought by Hilton. Although I have put a large deposit down I don't know if that means anything. My contract does not have anything in detail except the holding of the date (which I heard from another BDW that when she called it was available). I am so worried and no one is answering my emails or phone calls. I have not chosen the menu or any details they told me it was too soon, so what happens now if the prices change and I can't afford this resort anymore? I can't afford to loose my deposit either. What if they change the resort in general I love the way it looks the way it is especially the room comforters (long story...I chose places if I liked the comforters). What if they expand and there is construction when I am trying to have a quiet wedding and there is a crain in my pics? What happens if it is no longer all inclusive...that is huge for us? What if My room for the week is no longer free another expense we can't live with out? Ok so I guess it is obvious how freaked out I am, and all my questions have questions which then have questions and no one will answer me there AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! And on top of it all my future mother in law is acting like I am a idiot like I should have known this was happening or actually happen. The funny thing is this was one of my questions when I went there as a business person myself duh they couldn't answer that and duh that level of person I was talking to probably wouldn't even know that answer. I am so devastated I don't know what to do, I feel so helpless I just want answers and I know I am not going to get them for a while and I am scared of what they are my wedding in paradise might be canceled Thanks for listening, sorry if I went off course or didn't make any sense

I looked into A LOT of resorts on a lot of islands and the most frustrating thing was the extra price for liquor at AI's and even more for top shelf. I had no problem for the extra $ for food (cooks, help, etc) but I rather pay the extra bar tenders then put a price on liquor for each guest. I have a lot of drinkers and they will NYC tip no matter AI or not.

If you love the dress no matter how many more you tried on you would still love that original dress. I got engaged in Dec 07, I bought my dress March 08, I booked my place/date July 08. So there is no right time to buy your dress just the old saying you will kno wit when you see it.

Hi Guys so I have a date to go BM dress shopping with my sister in law. I have 6 0r 7 BM's right now. So my question is did you pay for their dresses? I wish I didn't ask so many girls then I would have. Or if you didn't pay how much is too much? I have been in all of their weddings and have spent around $800 but I didn't have to travel. What are your thoughts on price?

I agree the point of a wedding dress is that you feel beautiful in it, and if this dress does that for you go for it. why don't you buy the dress take some pics so you can see how you think you look in the dress and you can also post them you know we will give our honest opinions. Just don't sit on it too long Target dresses go quickly and being the end of the summer they won't be getting more in.

Ok I haven't sent out my invites out yet but are you doing your counts by RSVP cards to your house or how many people actually booked their trip? I am scared ppl. will RSVP but not complete the process of planning their trip. Then how do you call and when do you call to say you RSVP but you are not on my list from the hotel who booked? Ok I have 1 million questions that then lead to more questions ahhhhhhh
