Hi Mindy! Welcome to the forum! There are so many choices for excursions in Cancun. I would suggest searching on this site and also the "Things To Do" list on Trip Advisor to get ideas. One thing I did notice is that the resort charges more than most other tour operators but you can negotiate with them. They are pretty good with price matching if you feel more comfortable booking with EPM directly. We chartered a catamaran for our guests in lieu of a rehearsal dinner. As far as the shower thing goes, I have no idea. Email the hotel and tell them your predicament. I'm sure they will help you with a solution. One thing I have noticed about EPM is that they bend over backwards to accommodate you. For example: Yamina (the wedding coordinator) offered to go to the store for me before my arrival to get the tequila I need for the OOT bags.

We had our legal day on Friday! Yay!

J. Crew is a great idea. Nordstrom has a bridal section too with some nice dresses. Many of the Nicole Miller dresses are in your price point (My Nicole Miller was under $1,000).

Hi ladies! Is everyone getting excited! december is right around the corner! I haven't been on in a while. I have been trying to get things done! I made a pre-wedding mailer (used Vista Print) and am working on a welcome book now. I had my first dress fitting last weekend and my next one is next weekend. I also started my packing list. The time is flying by. I feel like I still have so much to do!

I got my dress at Wedding Atelier (Wedding Atelier: Shop designer wedding gowns, bridal veils, wedding shoes, and bridal accessories in our New York bridal shop.). I had THE BEST experience there. The two sales women I worked with were so nice and the owner, Carrie, was an absolute doll. I highly recommend!

I am giving my fiance a BD book. I don't want anything in particular but I would bet money if he gets me anything it will be a watch. My fiance is obsessed with watches. I have already bought him 3 so I wanted to do something different for our wedding day.
