I always do a combo of tanning bed and spray tan before going away. You get darker with less sessions ..... and skin damage!

I am getting married at Excellence Playa Mujeres but since there are no threads on this resort, I hope you do not mind that I join you ladies since the options and policies are identical. I booked the wedding through the WC at EMP - Nayeli. There was no deposit ($) required, only a reservation number for my hotel room at the resort. I am opting for a legal ceremony because I did not like the idea of having to choose when my wedding anniversary should be between my legal date and my symbolic date. I had no trouble getting the documentation together to date and since we have so much time to plan, I knew the hoop jumping for the legal ceremony wouldn't be an issue. I can certainly understand why many choose to do the legal thing in the states though.

I am very sorry for your frustrations. My girlfriend is going through the same issue with her husband now. They haven't had sex in over a year! I don't think that what you posted was inappropriate or TMI but this may be.... Have you tried watching porn together? Most men really like porn and your FI must also if he is looking at it on the internet. Maybe you guys can enjoy it together and use it as a tool to spice up your sex life together? Together being the key word. I totally understand getting in a "no sex rut" and it is super hard to break out of it once you get into one. Think of the porn like a fun, exciting new exercise class. It may be just what you guys need to jump start his new sexercise program! The key word here, as many girls have already posted is that you work on this together. It is important for you both to be happy both with the mental and physical aspects of your relationship.

Kenny and I got engaged on December 1, 2007. Our wedding is on December 12, 2009. That being said, we will have been engaged for 2 years and 11 days prior to our wedding day. I am having the best time being engaged and planning. I do not want to rush it. Taking my time and learning and getting ideas from all you wonderful ladies has been wonderful.

Flights aren't available for Dec 09 yet but I priced out Excellence Playa Mujeres on Orbitz for the same time we are getting married this year. The price Orbitz gave me on a hotel/air package was great - $1,600 for 7 nights.

My FI father has a timeshare in Cancun and has invited his whole side of the family to stay with him. I told my FI to make sure he explains to them that they'll have to pay $150.00 to attend the wedding if they stay off-site (Excellence Playa Mujeres day pass fee). As far as I'm concerned if people are making other arrangements to save so much money, then they can pay for the day pass out of their own pocket.

The bill was around $375. I submitted a claim and got a $325 check from the insurance company (all they subtracted was the deductible).

I am going through the process right now. The first thing you have to do is get your birth certificate apostilled. The requirements are different for every state. Google the requirements for your state. Then you have two choices - if your hotel offers translation services, you can send copies to the resort for the translation or, your other option would be to use a certified translator and get it done here in the states.

We were planning on buying our WC a gift instead of giving cash.
