Okay, so I tried it again today. I didn't take any of my enzymes and prescription with it in the morning. I ate a fruit & nut salad from mickeyds this morning for breakfast. It was 8 grams of fat. LOL, the moment I got to work, I ran to the bathroom. After that episode, I've been fine so far. I ate a greek salad with a sprinkle of feta, two tablespoons of low fat greek dressing, and some salt and pepper for additional taste. I had my second pill after lunch. My stomach is rumbling. I am super gassy, but okay. I am not feeling nausea today. My constant battle with the toilet is over. I think the Alli was purging my system of everything. I also believe it was the enzymes and prescription that interacted with each other negatively i.e., puking. Enzymes and prescription were for digestion. I am going to stop taking them for now. Or, I will take them before I go to bed. I don't want the same reaction again. LOL, I am going to agree with everyone about limiting my greasy food intake. I had a smoothie last night for dinner. I made my husband get one too. We woke up this morning. He kept complaining about being hungry. I reminded that we had smoothies for dinner. So, he was determined to stop at MickeyDs for breakast. He has a thing for their McSkillet Burritos. He ordered his breakfast. Then, he looked at me and asked me what I wanted. I told him that I wanted a Fruit and Nut salad for breakfast. He said that he was impressed that I didn't get a McSkillet too. I told him that thought of greasy behind was enough motivation not to eat the McSkillet. So, we sat in our car and ate our breakfast. He was damn-near making love to the hash brown and McSkillet. He was licking his fingers after each bite. As, I ate my nuts and apples. He turned to me and told me that it was sooooo good. Even though, I wanted to eat it with him. The thought of shitting on myself seemed to curve my cravings. LOL, I did smell the McSkillet though. I won't get greasy behind from that, right? My hat is off to you Maura!! Thanks so much for testing it out for us and answering our crazy questions/concerns!!!

Okay, I have two multivitamins that I take each day. The other stuff I listed are purely for digestion; except for the b12. I am going to take the b12 and the multivitamins in the evening as suggested by you and the packaging. I wonder, I also take probiotic too (for digestion). Should I take that prior to going to sleep? Well, I just had my second dose of the Alli. I ate lunch. My stomach started to hurt. So, I went to the bathroom again (for the billionth time). Then, I became very nausea. I threw up everything; my lunch and part of my breakfast. I feel much better. My stomach felt uneasy all day. I hope this is a one time occasion. I can't puke at work everyday.

Well, today is my first day using Alli. I only had one pill so far. I drank my meal supplement shake (GNC - GNC Lean Shake™ - Vanilla 1.7 lbs.) for breakfast. I make the shake with Silk's Vanilla Soy Milk and a banana. I also had daily round of vitamins (i.e., papaya enzyme, pineapple enzyme, b12, & protonix). Everything is okay for now. TMI, I've been going more than usual today. I usually go twice a day, but now I am going three times (so far).

Congrats and welcome!!!

The place is beautiful, but very isolated. LOL, they have their own shopping plaza, because they are so isolated (aka intimate). Honestly, they are way too expensive. If your guests are not staying at the resort, they cannot attend the wedding at all. They do not provide day passes. Unless, they changed their policy. You probably want to plan activities with your guest too. You will have to travel quite a distance to get to everything, because of it's location. Good Luck, J

Ok..let me get this straight?

I received a temporary document from the minister during ceremony at the signing. Then, I received the official document (two marriages licenses) approximately two months after my wedding. -
Question for fellow black brides Re: hair plans
JBinjour replied to Agape Gems's topic in Beauty, Exercise, Diet
I had a sewn in weave. I went to New York and purchased my hair from Erena Hair Care Center. Here's their website Erena Hair Centers:: Our Factory ::. It was matched to my hair texture (relaxed) and color. The weave I purchased when wet would curl, but also could be straighten with a curling iron, roller set, etc. I decided to on weave, because of the humidity. I just didn't want to fuss with my hair on top of everything else. I posted my wedding picture slide show on here. You can see the weave on there. -
I am really convinced. I am going start taking ALLI.

Don't want the palm tree or starfish theme!
JBinjour replied to ashley9078's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
LOL, weddings are becoming less and less traditional. I think you have more options with a destination wedding. I was more focused on the color than the theme. Since, the ceremony was in tropical garden. I played on the different shades of green in the background. It's your day. What ever you choose, make sure you (lol and the hubby to be) are happy with the decision. You don't want any regrets. Good Luck, J -
We're home..... lots to share

LOL, when I met with my wedding coordinator, I had a binder with everything. She probably thought I was nuts, but I didn't care. I don't do surprises, especially a big no-no on my wedding day. Well, I would recommend using US Airways to Jamaica. You are correct about American Airlines totally sucking. They are not a reliable airline at all. LOL, stay away from Air Jamaica too. -
SOS - need room at ROR 7/23 - 7/26
JBinjour replied to nisha98's topic in Jamaica Accommodations & Site
You shouldn't have to deal with this situation, because it's her problem. In addition, please don't let her selfishness cause an argument between you and your new hubby-to-be. I had selfish sisters that didn't book their hotel and airfare. Plus, they never tried on their dresses. They called me at the minute. I told them that I gave them the boot. I don't need the hassle from anyone. Good Luck, J -
Finally booked my photographer for RIU!!!

Congrats on booking your photographer!!! Good Luck, J -
Welcome!!! Well, I got married in a tropical garden. So, my color scheme was olivine (olive green w/ iridescent gold), white, and gold. It all depends on where you are getting married. Then, used your background in order to pick your color scheme. I used this dress from David's Bridal for my Bridesmaids. Here's the link : David's Bridal - Bridesmaids, Dress Detail . It was not only cute, but breathable and affordable. Good Luck, J

I actually have a lot of their products. Since, I don't wear a lot of makeup. I also can't justify spending $50 on a bronzing blending brush. Their product line works for me. I really like brushes. It's actually a higher quality brushes for the price. I also like their lip glosses, bronzers, and eyeshadows. I can't use their foundation makeup. Since, I am black-american with a in-between tone (not very dark skinned & definitely not light skinned). Their foundations do not blend very well with my skin tone. I believe for the price you are getting more. Lol, at least it's not Wet'n'Wild makeup!!!

I originally booked a standard room and was upgraded to a Junior Suite. I didn't even ask for upgrade. Even though, we knew of the upgrade. I was married the day before at a different hotel in Jamaica and had my honeymoon at ROR. I checked in with my tiara on. The CSR looked at me and said congrats and then gave me the upgrade. I am staying at RMO for my one-year anniversary from 9/2-9/9. Would they upgrade me again to Jr. Suite? Since, I was married in Jamaica, spent my honeymoon with them last year, and I have my JA marriage license. If I show it to them, will they upgrade me again?

The hubby and I dated through college. I am still learning about him more and more each day. I just found out that he does not like apples...LOL. I didn't even know that information. We are going on 7 years together in December. Our one-year wedding anniversary is on August 25th. I wouldn't have married the man that he was in beginning.
-
LOL, married at 21!!! I don't think so. I was still learning my likes and dislikes in men. I was still playing the field and enjoying life. LOL, I was too busy saving up for my college spring break trip. Marriage was the last thing on my mind at 21. I don't think so. When I got married, I was financially stable too, with a great job, and purchased a home a year prior to the engagement. My state of mind near 30 versus my state of mind at 21 was very very different.

You are overreacting to the situation, but you NEED to relax. It's not the end of the world. Actually, it's the beginning of everything for you. You will look at this situation and laugh in the future. If she's your true friend and MOH, tell her to back off. I also suggest not sugarcoating it. It sounds like sugarcoating will not work with her. The honest truth is the only remedy to her madness. It will also make you feel better too.
