"Twilight" Series and Movie Discussion--WARNING! Spoilers!

A little forewarning. The first few books of AB are quite different from the later books. I don't know what happened but she has a LOT of sex in her books. And I mean alot. So if that is something that bothers you then I'm just warning you. But it doesn't bother me at all. The first book in the series is Guilty Pleasures. You can actually get all the books in paperback except the last one probably. The Merry Gentry series is awesome too. It only has 7 books. I don't think she has a set number for her series. She just keeps writing. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I LOVE these books! Reminds me I need to go to the bookshop and get the latest one! And completely different topic. I read the Host. And it was pretty good. Different from Twilight but pretty good. I think it would make a good movie. oh good, i am to buy anita series used. thanks. -

I tried to do a search at Borders, but over 76 books came up in the results. I read the summary on a few of them. I'm actually interested in the series. I just don't know where to start. TIA -

I cannot wait for the movie. I read all the books within two weeks. Hopefully, the movie lives up to the hype. -
anyone have childhood stuffed animals or blankies still???
JBinjour replied to Michelle's topic in Random Thoughts
I don't sleep with stuff animals anymore, but I do collect them (still). LOL, I used to walk around with a doll's head as a child. LOL, the doll's head was missing an eye and some hair. I would bring it everywhere with me. While, I was sleeping, my sisters would take it from me, wash it in the washing machine, and put it back before I woke up. LOL, I know I sound like Wednesday from the Adams Family. -
In situations like thisone, usually the perpetrator is someone that victim already knows.

my non white wedding dress!
JBinjour replied to saraece's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
i love the red wedding dress. -
No, I've travelled to Mexico and various islands throughout the Caribbean without any issue of thief. When you travel, you can have good time, but also be safe and reasonable about the situation. I carried locks with me and used them in our suite at Riu. Basically, I would use everything I needed out of my suitcase and placed everything back. As far as makeup, I left the cheap stuff out, but placed my more expensive products in my suitcase. I also did not use the in-room hotel safe. I locked my rings, watches, and any other valuables (i.e., travel documents, wallet, cash, credit cards, etc.)in my suitcase too. Yes, you can read the reviews on tripadvisor. You must also read them with a grain of salt.

were you able to sort out your situation with sprint?

I actually lost a total of 20 lbs with Alli, exercise, and diet control. I went on my vacation and was very happy with the results. LOL, I've been off the wagon for about 3 weeks. When I came back from my trip to JA in August. I wanted a break from everything. I just started today. I'm glad to report that I did not gain any weight. I went back to eating normal again and my regular exercise routine. I also an additional 5 lbs. I am feeling great. So, I decided to get back on board again. I have a whole wardrobe of clothes that no longer fit me. Since, I lost weight, I am able to wear them again. It's like I have a new wardrobe for the winter. My total weight lost to date is 25 lbs.

fyi, i was married august 2007 in ocho rios, jamaica. i had over 150 (90 from USA and 60+ from JA) guests at my wedding. the only table that had assigned seating were the first three tables that were directly in front of the head table. these table were reserved for our parents and very important guests. the other tables were open seating. i couldn't bother with figuring out the dynamics of everyone's relationship with each other. there was so much drama and politics that came with our destination wedding. i decided that this was one thing that i couldn't stress about. these were adults that attended our wedding. they should be able to sort the situation out on their own and they did. i believe that assign seating can make a very comfortable situation very awkward.

WE'RE BACK from our DW in Jamaica!

welcome back! -
My shoes did not show under my wedding dress. I actually paid for them to make my dress extra long. I am 5'6" with heels I am 5'9"ish. So, I am not really tall, but with shoes I am. I also have long legs. I wanted to make sure that that dress covered my shoes. I paid for extra money for a certain service. I expected my dress to be the way that I wanted like you. If it wasn't I wouldn't have paid her or withheld a portion of her fee. Since, the seamstress did not fulfill her obiligation, she must compensate you i.e., refund a portion of the payment. If she hassles you, you can alway threaten ligitation. You can always dispute the charge on your credit card.

during my wedding process i did have a stressful moment, possibly a panic attack. basically, i bawled in front my boss for about 5 minutes. he asked a few question about a report that i was running and i broke down. i had so many family issues during the planning process. i never really processed my feeling. once, i cried and talked about everything, i felt so much better about the situation. i did cry one more time after the wedding was over. it was more like a cleansing. i don't know about anxiety medications at that time. i also wouldn't have wanted to take any too. i am so sensitive to various medications. lol, i can barely take day cold medications, they make me very sleepy. i probably would have been a zombie on my wedding day.

let him know that you are with a great man and move on. if you want to avoid any additional problems, you should change your number too. -
If you are not getting the results that you want, it's your money, time, and wedding. If you didin't sign a contract, you should switch to different wedding planner at your venue. Yes, your wedding almost a year away. Time is money. It's also very precious. Good Luck!

My youngest sister has passed...I want to cancel ceremony
JBinjour replied to Indigo's topic in Just venting or funnies
I am sorry for your lost. I hope you and your family find peace in the situation. Your sister is with you everyday throughout your thoughts and memories of her. You should take a moment and reevaluate the situation. If you don't feel like going through the wedding, you can always postpone the situation. Everyone should understand the situtation and accommodate you as much as possible. -
LOL, I don't work for Sprint. I just learned their system. Plus, I received some help from another website. My DH is with Sprint too for many years. I was able to use some his knowledge. I used to have Verizon as a wireless carrier. Even with my employer's discount, it wasn't worth staying with them. Their service was amazing, but their customer service was horrible. They constantly wanted to nickel and dime me for everything. Plus, when they messed up my bill. They always turned the situation back to me. You should also include that you are loyal customer with an account in good standing. You can also mention that you've been with them for x amount of years. Honestly, this sounds like a retention specialist situation. I don't even both with their customer service reps., because they are useless. Sprint's retention department will usually do anything in order to keep your business. They might thrown in an additional loyal credit to your account for your time and annoyance with the situation. Good Luck!!

Madonna & Guy Ritchie.....it's official
JBinjour replied to azhuskergirl's topic in Celebrity Gossip!
I am not surprised. Yes, I am sorry that her marriage ended. Everyone seems to forget that Madonna was "busy-body" back in the day. She has done and seen it all. I'm glad that she settled. Eventually, her trueself came back into the picture. You can pretend to be something else for so long (i.e., English accent, etc). She was eventually going to dump him. She even tried to spice up her marriage and introduced "new things" to Guy in order to make things work. Do you remembered the purple thing hanging out the the bag incident? It's better that you move on for the sake of your children, yourself, and your former partner. -
I know, it's whatever is clever. Heather is right. This is the perfect Howard Stern wedding dress. I am not old fashioned. I just see clear stripper shoes with that dress.

Did you end your contract with them? Or, did you only return the phone? They may have charged you an early prorated termination fee. If you returned the phone after the 30 days, you are required to pay a portion of your phone usage. If your returned phone prior to the 30 days, you should not be charged for the phone (more info noted below). If you are a current customer, you should call their retentions department. Basically, when you dial *2 on your handset, you will hear the automated system. There you will either say cancel service or press whatever key that will bring you to cancellation of service. There you will speak to a retentions specialist and plead your case. I just want to stress to you that you must remain calm and speak to them very nicely. Simple explain that there are plenty of companies out there that would love your business, but you choose to stay with Sprint, because of their service and dedication to their customers. You wouldn't want to leave over a misunderstanding. You are so frustrated. You need a immediate resolution to this situation. They should be able to assist you with this situation. You might end up with a service credit and loyalty credit in the end too (as an added bonus). if you can't explain yourselfover the phone, or you may get frustated with them, or you don't get the resolution that you want from the retentions specialist. then you should also send an email to their ecare department. here's their email addresses: [email protected] [email protected] here are the direct numbers to the retentions department: 866-881-9571 877-766-7697 877-851-1832 Phone Returns:L Sprint customers will be allotted 30 days to return equipment, accessory and software accessory purchases to qualify for a refund as well as 30 days to cancel Sprint service without penalty – waived Sprint Early Termination Fee (ETF) – and qualify for a credit of the activation fee (when applicable). Easiest way is to call Sprint and exchange directly with them. You will receive a temporary credit until you send the old phone back. Hope this information will help you.
