Ladies, my colours are cobalt blue/royal blue and white and I want to have accents of green and silver. I'm having artificial bouquets made for me and the bridesmaids but I'm looking for some inspiration pics of blue and white flower bouqets. Did anyone use these colours or have some pics of bouquets?

I sent out my save the dates this July and we're not getting married until October 2009 (I wanted to give people plenty of notice about our wedding). If standard ettiquette calls for DW invitations to be sent about 4-6 months in advance, when should people RSVP by? I think for standard AHW, the RSVP deadline is usually 1 month before the wedding, is this too late? I have a few people who are possible coming from the UK and have many more that are coming from out of town. Are travel agent has told us that final payments are due in August, should that be the deadline?

I am so excited I just had to share. I received confirmation from Melissa on Thursday that our wedding date will be October 28, 2009 at 3pm at Melia Las Dunas!

I'm a little concerned even though we're not getting married util october 2009 We're heading down the week of the 24th to 31st. It's still technically hurricane season. I'm keeping track of the weather and hoping it's good this October and that this year's weather will be a predicter for next year's weather.

I'm getting married at the Melia Las Dunas in October 2009. We're getting the free wedding package, and I'm not really all that concerned. Melissa has been fabulous and has been able to answer all my questions. I'm only choosing a few extras available at the resort. We are bringing our own photographer with us, because that was the only thing that was extremely important to me. I figure that if there is anything else I really feel I need, I will bring it down with me.

Thanks everyone. I've created a website already and I've sent out my save the dates. We've had about 20 people book so far! We're travelling to Cuba the weeke of October 24-31, 2009. I was just wondering how I go about picking the actual wedding date.

So, we've found our travel agent, and we've booked our trip! Right now it looks like we have about 15 people attending (Yay!! That's waaaayy more than I expected). So what do I do now. Our wedding sin't till October, 2009, so I have lots of time. But how do I book the actual wedding date? Do I do it through the travel agent? Do I contact the wedding coordinator myself?

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate your tips and advice. I came home tonight and received a fabulous quote from one of the TA's we've been speaking with and we've decided to book with her. Unfortunately, it was too late to speak with her tonight, but I did send her an email and hopefully we can hash out the details on monday. I made up my own save the date cards and I directed people to our website to find out the travel information. I will call the really important people this weekend so I can give them the heads up. Also, since the quote was good, it looks like we'll be getting married at Melia Las Dunas!! Once again, thanks for your help!

We're considering the Melia Las Dunas. The other resort we're considering is the Paradisus Rio de Oro in Holguin. I think at this point, it's going to come down to price. We chose Cuba as our destination because FH and I took our first real vacation together there and just fell in love with the country. We both adore Cuba and the country has sentimental value for us.

Hi everyone, My name is Emily and my FH and I are getting married in Cuba in October, 2009. I thought I had my heart seat on getting married at the Paradisus Rio de Oro, but now I'm thinking of getting married at the Melia Las Dunas. I am still waiting for some quotes to get back to me, but at this point I think we'll be basing our decision on price. My biggest concern right now is getting the information out to people. I have started a website, but there's not much on it right now as we haven't yet booked our trip. FH and I can only afford to put deposits down for 10 people, we honestly didn't think we'd get anymore than that, but it looks like lots more people want to come. I don't know if I should send invites/STD out now, before we have trip information, or if I should wait until we have pricing? AS I understand it, they can only hold the price for 7 days and after that it might go up. I'm concerned that people won't have enough time to put a deposit down? Any advice?
