hi girls been really busy working etc been florida again spent far to much my H2B nearly called the wedding off i spent that much ha ha x i see some progress has been made i.e. dresses, shoes etc good to hear! shelk...the catamaran sounds like a good deal, we were thinking of doing that, if we can get it for that price in jamaica that would be great!! off to the dom republic tomo just for 2 days but got 5 days in mombassa kenya next month!!! cant wait hope you both have a good w/end x

hi girls i am back spent to much money!!! but enjoyed every minute got a few days off now. recieved a bottle of wine, flowers and some chocs from manager at Thomsons and a card that said how sorry she was i just hope thats not the compensation she was talking about!??

Thomsons rang my H2B re the complaint we made and the manager licked his bottom ha ha she was grovelling, love it!! she is getting back to us to let us know what compensation they can give us...who says complaining doesnt pay!! have a good w/end girls, hope you feel better soon baj x off to florida next week, shopping time!!

hi i e-mailed chandyln to confirm my evening meal and reception and she responded within a week, i then asked her for some prices and again i got a response within a week...maybe just lucky, but i did read on here from other brides that she usually responds within a week i would e-mail again and like the rest have said put your date, time booking ref etc i only e-mailed her for the first time a few weeks ago. good luck x

hi girls i am back!! had a great time very tanned but i am quite dark anyway so just topped it up drank every night, ate like kings and feel really bad for it but loved every minute!! hired car and went to water park and palma which were both great now for detox, well sort of i am out this sat with the girls...but back in gym and salads for tea

hi girls off on hol tomo to puerto pollensa in majorca not one of our choices but hey only £100 each half board got confirmation for our beach evening reception to very exciting!! why do they tell you that you cant book your reception until a month before ours is booked now 8 months before, dont get it!?? anyway adios girls see you in a week x

hi girls christening was great, got a bit drunk but not to bad was home by 12 and had a little KFC on way home fealt so guilty!! shelk...that seems alot of money to upgrade when you might even get a free upgrade to that room anyway?? i would put that money to something else and just hope you get the free room upgrade cant wait for holiday x

i have replied threatening to cancel the booking, see what they say ha had a reply from wedding co-ordinator from ROR, and she has confirmed my wedding meal just waiting on comfimation of beach evening reception very excited

baj...spinning is a class with bikes, you basically pedal to music and have resistance to make it feeling like your going up a hill, your in and out of the saddle, its tough but a very good workout. my H2B is manager of a leisure centre so we go quite a bit. heard nothing re complaint letter?? hi shelk...never been camping before would like to, you have a good time? let me know what slumdog is like to not seen it?

hi we are getting married on april 1st 2010 at 2pm...beach ceremony, and have e-mailed chandlyn this week to try and confirm meal at mammee bay, then beach or poolside reception for drinks and maybe DJ or bring our own we want steel drum band at ceremony, what is the difference to a mento band not heard of this??

hi...the number for chandlyn at the ROR is (1876) 972-2200, i have e-mailed her today for the first time i will see how long it takes for a reply?? we are getting married on april 1st 2010 at 2pm. i had to go through 2 other wedding co-ordinators at the riu montego bay and riu tropical bay to get chandlyns number, they both replied within 24hrs. I have been told that when you do get hold of her she is great

just keep going baj it can usually takes 3 months they say to notice any difference it will start to come off, i am a qualified fitness instructor so i know a little spinning is a good class to do the weight drops off you they say it burns up to 700 cals per 45min session!! got our wedding pack (not much to it like you both said) but there is no contact for the Riu Ocho Rios so i have e-mailed the other 2 Riu contacts to put me in touch with them! The TA are sucking up to us so much now, we popped in the other day to pay off some of the booking and the manager came out asking me about work etc etc to little to late i'm afraid...just wait till they see the complaint letter

got to start some where ha were both quite good really, both go to the gym alot and eat healthy just have spells when we drink and eat alot!!

not sure yet as we only find out 2 days before as were booking late seats, but its only £170 per week all inclusive so any where will do perks of the job only just sent letter yesterday so will give it a couple of weeks shelk...me and my H2B are on a months detox no alcohol or takeaway until holiday been very naughty lately

hi girls i was back late sat evening had a great time, weather was great but rained at around 3-4pm every day so i went for a nap at these times brought back maps of jamaica for the whole wedding party, also flyers on things to do and bought myself a jamaican bikini ha its ace!! going away on 5th july with H2B and some friends so cant wait to wear it! hope your ok baj? x how you doing shelk? wedding rings arrived last week but was away so we went to try them on today at beaverbrooks...very exciting!! bought bridesmaids gifts from there to, got them earrings paid the wedding package off today to £699, productive day really

hi girls...no jetting off yet but off to jamaica tomo morning till sat night!! its a hard life still waiting on our wedding pack, Thomson just dont ring us back they are such a nightmare!! my complaint letter is done so we will see what happens from that?

thanks girls i have done what you said and let Thomson know that we want first refusal on a 4pm cancellation on 1st april or 31st march, and i have also e-mailed this to riu wedding dept, but like you said just got to be happy it is all confirmed and move on from this! i have written a nasty letter to the complaints dept though to see what we can get
