does anyone know what the deal is with the deposits? Jacy also has not asked me for my deposit, but she told me that I was confirmed for July 9th 2009? Im not complaining that I haven't paid yet, but Im hopping that she doesn't give my date away!

wow. I am waiting....and waitng for an email response to book our date. Im going to call now to try to get someone that way! I just want to set the date already!!!

thanks for the support everyone! there are definately some drawbacks to going just us, and some disapointed family, but in the end, we are really excited! we can do what we want and don't have to worry about anyone else

we have been having a similar situation. We have decided to go just us, and have a reception afterwards. the complaints that friends and family were having were becoming too much for my fiance. I am at peace with the fact that some people can come and some people will not. we are deciding about having just parents come and his sister, but the thought of just us too sounds awsome to me at this point! Remember it is your day, and it is about the two of you!

I have been having a hard time deciding which resort to go to, but after researching the Valentin, I think im sold! Just sent the WC an email for availibility in July woo!

sooo... after being almost done with the planning and organizing, we have had a few mind changes, and annoying "comments" from friends and family, we have decided to get married....just the two of us. Im just wondering if anyone else has done this or is considering getting married just them...no guests. I am no wondering if anyone knows resorts that have cheep or free packages to accomodate this type of wedding? I know Dreams has a free package if you upgrade to a honeymoon suite.... anyone?
