I once cleaned the grout on my bathroom floor with Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. It took a few of them because the grout ripped them apart, but it really cleaned it. Magic Erasers are my favorite cleaning product, they clean everything so easily.

Did anyone who got married at ROR and make a seating chart for their dinner? I think we are having our dinner at Mammee Bay. I'm not sure if it would be better to have a seating chart and place cards for everyone, or if we should let everyone pick their seats. I'm afraid if we let everyone pick their seats, couples will get split up and our immediate families will not sit together. On the other hand, if I make a seating chart, who will put the place cards out?

8 months is plenty of time and $800 is not a bad price at all. Ours is quite a bit higher than that. As long as you understand that not everyone will come, than do what you want. Even though people are complaining, you might be surprised how many of them come. People will really surprise (in a good or bad way) when planning and destination wedding, I thinkg most of the brides on here can vouch for that. Bottom line is do what makes you and your FI happy and don't worry about everyone else!

I always hate it at wedding receptions when everyone taps their glasses to get the bride and groom to kiss. Anyone have any ideas or sayings to avoid having the tapping on glasses? I'd like to do something that the guests don't want to do so we don't have to kiss excessively in front of everyone lol.

I am planning on having a welcome dinner when we get to the resort and giving them out then. Most of our guests are coming on the same day. The rest I will give out when the guests arrive. I am afraid if I give them out before hand, people won't bring it with them. My family is helping me to get everyone to the resort. Depending on how many guests you have coming on a different day, you could give out most of your bags the night before adn then take the rest with you.

I would definately cash the checks now. If people sent you checks and did not post date them, then they are planning for the money to come out of their accounts now. I would send a thank you right away, unless you were planning on doing personalized thank you cards with a picture from your wedding on the. I think people will understand if you don't send the thank you card right away since your wedding is still 3 months away.

I like the shirt, it has a subtle "beachy" look to it. I don't think it's too busy at all. My dad is wearing a printed shirt as well.

I think that is okay, especially since you don't live close to where the party will be held. I'm sure your guests will understand. I would send out invites about a month in advance.

I like the idea of doing bright colors like pink or orange. Very pretty dress color!

It's all up to you, it's your wedding, you can do whatever you want! Personally, I would have the ushers wear the same color shirt as each other, but they don't have to match the groomsmen. I would have the ring bearer match the groomsmen. That way, people will be able to tell who is in the wedding party easily.

I think it depends on them. Do they know each other and would they be comfortable with it? Maybe you should have a casual conversation with your cousin to see how she feels about it. Has she specifically said she won't be able to make any of the events you listed? Sometimes people surprise us in what they do.

I just watched this weeks episode. Heidi finally got what was coming to her. She totally deserved to get fired. I can't believe Audrina wants Justin to move in with her. Why does it seem so obvious to everyone but her?

Those pictures are great! I love Halloween...it brings the fun out in people. The Dorothy costume is adorable. The bloody bunny is somewhat disturbing (lol) but baby is precious!
