You should go to a bridal shop and try on bridesmaid dresss, I think that would be your best bet. There are a lot of options. Some bridal stores carry "destination dresses" that are tea length. My FI's parents are giving us money to put towards our AHR. They offered to help us pay for that after we told them we would not be inviting all of the people they wanted us to invite because it cost too much. FI and I are paying for all of the costs for our wedding in Jamaica, as well as my brother and his girlfriend's trip to Jamaica. I agree, it would be nice that they would pay for the AHR, however, I don't think you can come right out and ask them to do so. In this day and age, I don't think parents are obligated to pay for their children's weddings, so it can be awkward to ask them to do so. It depends on what kind of relationship your FI has with his parents. If he feels comfortable to ask for help, then you can ask them. Maybe just hint around the fact that you would like to throw a party but are worried about money. Also, remember that while throwing an AHR costs money, you will gain a lot of the money back in gifts from your guests. Good Luck!

I would put your actual wedding date on the napkins, so that is what I voted for. I think it would look cute if you could put your names and date and a little picture above it such as a palm tree, starfish, or something beach related.

I have the same problem. I have no problem sleeping any other night but Sunday. It's been going on for probably a year, and I have no idea why. I try to exercise on Sunday nights to help me sleep better.

I completely agree! We are leaving for our wedding on January 6th, so I don't have any time to make up for eating bad around the holidays! I'm trying to stay away from everything. Now if only I could get FI to do the same thing...

I don't think your wedding party size matters at all compared to the number of guests. You should have as many people in your wedding party as you would if you weren't doing a dw. What are you concerned about if your wedding party is large?

I don't think anyone will notice, and if they do, I don't think they would comment on it. We, as brides, put a lot more stock in these types of things than our guests do.

These are the mugs I ordered from Discount Mugs. Since they are all the same color, I wanted to add everyone's name to them, but not in a permanent way. I just want everyone to know which mug is there's while we are in Jamaica so if someone takes a bunch of mugs to the bar to refill, they know who's is who's. I was thinking of putting a ribbon around the handle that has the name written with marker, but I'm not sure if that will work well. Anyone have any ideas?

I finally sent my paperwork via email to Chandlyn. Only problem is that she says our pictures are not clear on the copies of our passports so now I have to get notarized copies of our drivers licenses. Did anyone else use their passports? I don't think you can get a clear copy of a passport, it is not mad to be able to copy. Does anyone know if she needs to keep the notarized copy of our birth certificates when we get there? I only have the one copy of them and don't want to give it up. If she keeps them, I will have to get another notarzied copy. I'm getting so excited! Just over a month to go!
