We're getting married in April and we sent our invites (didnt do STD's) with all of the travel info the first week of August. Im still waiting for 1/3 of the RSVP's to come back and the reply date was Sept 15. Some people just emailed me to tell me their intentions and that was fine by me. It's the people, my so-called friends and family that have yet to send the RSVP back, email or even phone me... Ooops! Sorry went off on a bit of a tangent there... Moral of the story = best to send out STD, invites, other info well in advance.

Check out your provinces government website - it'll have all the necessary info you need to get legally married in Canada IE all the documentation, costs and paperwork...etc. They should also have info on what you need to change your name, if you're changing your name that is.. Im in Ontario so our gov website is Government of Ontario, Canada / Gouvernement de l'Ontario, Canada Hope that helps! Good luck!

I use Vichy Normaderm scrub/toner in the AM + plus Clinique defensewear eye cream. If Im not lazy or half in a coma before bed, I use Vichy Normaderm foaming cleanser and Clinique nighttime defensewear. I swear I see a difference in my skin since using Vichy... I could be hallucinating though. Im pretty sure my skin likes the fact that I quit smoking 6 years ago too... I really didnt want those smoking lines on my mouth - icky.

I think those are the most awesome-est shoes... EVER. Where did you get those? Congrats btw.. hehe

Very pretty! Looks great on you, too! I got bored one day and went to the small bridal shop in town, tried on 3 dresses. I loved the 3rd one, so I ordered it! Took me all of 20 minutes to pick out my wedding dress. Everyone thinks Im weird because I didnt bring a posse with me and I didnt bring my Mom, but I always have waaayy better luck shopping alone than with a crew of people.

I met mine on Date.ca (its a Canadian thing). A bunch of girls I work with were bugging me to get back on the dating scene and most of them had had really good luck with online dating - 2 of them were engaged at the time. We hit it off (both of us have the same demented sense of humour) and turns out we had mutual friends/aquaintences, talk about 6 degrees of separation. The rest is history!

I like the second one better... the empire waist is kinda weird on the first one... sorry. But like pp, if you think both of them are "just okay" - I'd keep looking.
