  1. Pole dancing! You're brave... Im too much of a goof-off to do pole dancing KW is a good location for me. Im easy on the location, though.
  2. Wow! You guys looked great! I love love love that pale blue on everyone. Very slick. Good to hear things went well and your pictures are FAB!
  3. I know that when FI and I booked our trip to Jamaica back in July we were originally with Signature vacays and flying with Air Transat - then Signature decided to drop all its packages to Jamaica in April. We switched over to Sunquest, flying with SkyService.
  4. Mamosa's (OJ and champagne) on Christmas morning with a big breakfast. Usually the mamosa's continue on throughout the day. I opted to work Christmas this year, so no Mamosa's for me!
  5. Chicklet - yeah we should def carpool, unless my job ruins it and I have to work. I wont drink that much..hehe Ellipse - Congrats on the job in Londontown. Im a born and bred Londoner and I lived in The Hammer for 3.5 years in college. London = way better Feb is busy for me, but pick a date and I'll see what I can do. Hey if you pick Feb 28th you could all come to my Stag & Doe!
  6. The fact that I have a job and I wont be getting laid off anytime in the near or distant future.
  7. Im down Amanda, as long as my crappy work schedule doesn't get in the way! I work in KW, but live closer to London. Im used to driving, so wherever/whenever is good for me!

  9. We talked to our TA first and got some rates, then worried about our guest list. We pretty much knew from the get-go that the majority of our guests wouldnt be able to come with. We sent everyone an invite anyway
  10. I didnt meet mine at a club, but my parents met at a really seedy bar in my hometown. You can meet quality people anywhere, just have to keep your eyes open!
  11. Congrats and welcome back... too bad you have to come back to this snow/grey skies. Couldn't have had better timing going to Jamaica though. SW ONterrible kinda got slammed with snow last week. Ugh. Cant wait to see the pics!
  12. We didnt do an STD and sent our invites the beginning of August for our April wedding. I think earlier the better with DW's, especially in this shitty economy. Anything goes really. Reminder postcards are a good idea.
  13. Congrats and welcome from another Jamaican bride-to-be! TONS of info in the Jamaica forum - and a good chunk of it is directly related to ROR. Good luck!
  14. My toes go numb at the gym sometimes... Sucks that you just cant go see your Doc when you're concerned about something. Guess I take that for granted sometimes... I wouldn't worry too too much about it unless the toes get painful, turn white or worse turn black!
  15. Awesome pictures!! You looked awesome - love that dress! Trolley pics are too funny.
  16. I'd say suck it up for the wedding. It's only a couple hours out of his life.... Mine doesnt care for some of my lipgloss either, but I say too bad.
  17. DRINK! Enjoy the resort! Have a nap until dinner. That's all we plan on doing. You're on "island time" anyway, so your 3pm wedding probably wont start until 4pm ...hehe.
  18. Yay! Your dress is awesome and holy sunset in Negril (cant wait)! Now where are those ceremony pics?? Hehe
  19. I have to go with Crocs - I swear these are the best, most comfortable shoes for 12 hours on my feet that I've ever owned. My occ health dept doesnt like us to wear them, but my knees and lower back dont hurt as much when I wear my Crocs as when I wear my other shoes (Saucony's or Asics) However, Crocs are contra-ban in most hospitals.

So after posting on your "the straw that broke the camel's back" - I decided to join WW Online too!!! My wedding is 5 months off and I could still stand to lose a chunk more weight (people dont need to mistake me for a beached whale in a bikini ) I need a kick in the ass too! My issue is late night binge eating... Hopefully I can kill 20 lbs by April - good luck to us!
  21. If it makes you feel any better, I gained 35 pounds in 10 months when I quit smoking 7 years ago Just get back on the horse, it'll come off if you put your mind to it! Im in the same boat with work and commuting. I work 12 hour shift work and commute an hour there and an hour back. It's hard to fit gym, boxing, hockey and eating half decent into that kind of shitty schedule, but it can be done. Good luck to ya!
  22. There was someone not too long ago who's entire bridal party was wearing white and it looked killer. Especially with the blue ocean and sand in the background. Cant remember what colour flowers they all had, but it did look really really good. Pick whatever dress colour you like!
