We pretty much chose RPTB based on the pictures and review of the beach. Oh and that it got upgraded last year to a "palace". Not much difference b/w RN and RPTB really. We had lunch at RN -- its just bigger, more people. You can check out my review and there are a few others from RPTB if you do a search. Feel free to PM me if ya want. Personally I'd get married at any of the 3 in JA!

Yep. Another perk of being married. Both of us are saving $40/month a piece on our car insurance. Yay us!

Not procrastinating so much as just killing time. Its 430am and this night shift is going by painfully slowly. Ugh. I am an idiot for doing shift work.

I havent died yet and I only wash the bed linen every 2-4 weeks depending on how busy I am. Im definately not a germaphobe - I work in a hospital (the filthiest places on earth) so Im exposed to a hell of a lot more than just plain old poop. If I had regular days off I might be more inclined to wash stuff more often, but I do what I can do, when I can do it.

We didnt have an AHR, and we only had 9 guests at our wedding. Originally we werent going to have a Buck n' Doe, but after some of our friends pestered us we caved. Ended up being a great time and raised us some $$. I dont think its tacky - people who want to come and spend money will or wont. No one's holding a gun to their head. We had a great turnout b/c of the no AHR thing.

Mine didnt ask. My Dad died when I was 18. He asked me if he should be asking my Mom, but I said no. Didnt see the point. Even if my Dad was alive, I wouldnt see the point.

My wedding band has the 1/2 way diamonds. I dont have the spinning problem and mine arent sautered. We went with 1/2 way diamonds b/c Im fairly hard on my jewellery and no point in paying for diamonds that I would most likely ruin

We sort of ran into this problem last summer. Our wedding was over Easter this year. Originally we and our guests had booked our AI with Signature last July. In October, Signature dropped all its Canadian flights to Jamaica. Our TA fixed everything and just re-booked us all with Sunquest. Sunquest had originally been more expensive than Signature, but they honoured the price Signature had given us. No harm, no foul and I didnt have to lift a finger. Hope things work out okay for you and yours. We also live in Ontario and flew out of Pearson.

Im a big fan of black, so Im sure it will look awesome. As for the bout on silk -- yeah FI wore linen and the stupid bout barely stayed up. Dragged his shirt down a bit and the bout ended up being upside down most of the time. Not heavy enough fabric to hold it up.

Sorry you have to go through all this! I'd have killed my witnesses if they buggered up my wedding cert. On the other hand -- is another trip to JA such a bad idea? LOL
