Hey Carly - maybe a Riu Palace Tropical Bay thread? There weren't too many aroudn when I was planning my wedding, but I've seen a few more floating around lately. Maybe split the forum into cities as well? Montego Bay and Negril? I dunno, just throwing it out there! -

Yup. Feel your pain. We sent 75+ invites and got 9 RSVP's. 6 of those were DH's family. We didnt have an AHR either. Its a tough pill to swallow, but we still had a great time and I still got to marry my guy. Good luck -- the majority of us can relate (doesnt make it any easier, but at least we know how it feels) -

Wow. I've been reading this from the beginning, as well as the other recent BDW bride (can't recall who of the top of my head) this whole shifty communication and not receiving flowers on time is lame and lame is really understating it. I hope you get your flowers on time b/c they really are gorgeous! Try to remain calm if they don't show up -- ya easier said than done though, eh? Your wedding will be just as beautiful with fresh Jamaican flowers!! Good luck I hope things get sorted out

Holy shite! I've been on vacay for awhile and missed this completely. I'm so sorry that happened to you Erika -- the broken teeth thing gives me goosebumps and gives me the heebie jeebies. I can't imagine. Eeek! Hope you recover quickly! Good on the BDW girls for having your back. Kudos girls.

We didnt bring a photog with us to Jamaica, so I told DH we were having pro Epics and it wasnt negotiable. I hope your FI changes his tune. Really... its only a few hours of his life. Im pretty certain they wont kill him -

Gorgeous! Sunset at the Palms looked pretty awesome from what we could see while we were in Jamaica. We stayed at RPTB, so we shared the same beach. BEST EVER. The sunset is crazy. Cant wait to see your review! Congrats! -

The Eat-Clean cookbooks and the Eat-Clean mags are great. Ive made tons of stuff from both and even my super picky meat and potatoes husband has liked the majority of stuff Ive made from them. I never felt deprived while doing clean eats, just requires a lot of planning ahead for me, especially working 12hr shifts. Oxygen mag is a great resource as well -- check 'em out!

Im not the etiquette police by any standard, but I agree with most - if he doesnt use it, then I wouldnt put it on the invites. We didnt use my full name on our invites either. My real name is Kathleen, but no one calls me that ever. We just used Kayte.
