Lagen, Congratulations on your wedding. I am curious if 80% of your guests are staying at the Palace? I am sort of split weather to have it at the Palace because of their 80% policy. I like the extra ammeneties the palace offers, however staying at the Santa Fe is alot more affordable for my guests. I like that the Palace offers extras such as fire dancers and fireworks. Too bad I couldn't get married at the Palace and have my guests stay at the Santa fe.

Sandra, Hi! I read that you got married at the Santa Fe! That's great! I'm planning on wedding there Sept. 09. Do you know what the difference is between the Palace and the Santa Fe Gazebo? I have been in communication with both WC, but Palace's Daniela seems to respond quicker than Santa Fe's Paola. Do you have a copy of the extra ammenities and prices for the Santa Fe. I wanted fireworks and firedancers, wich the palace offers. Haven't heard back from Santa Fe about these extras. Great Review!! You have helped out trememdously!

Thank-you so much! I have actually read a lot of good advice and had a lot of questions answered through this forum..Thank-Goodness! The WC who has been in contact with me frrom the Santa Fe is named Paola. I chose the Riu because it's an all inclusive hotel on Medano beach. The gazebo at the Palace is beautiful and the extra options are exciting (fire dancers, fireworks). I have asked Paola to send me a picture of the Gazebo at the Santa Fe (if the location is different from the Palace) and some prices on the extra ammeneties. I haven't received this yet. Did Erika send you a package with the lists of extra options with prices? Thanks for your response!

Hello There! I am planning my destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas in September of 09. I have chosen the Riu but am having difficulty deciding between the Palace or Santa Fe. So far I have been in communication with Daniela from the Palace and she has given me alot of great information and is very quick to respond to my e-mails. The WC at the Santa Fe is a little harder to communicate with, however she is responsive, just not as effecient as the Palace coordinator. If anyone has gotten married at the santa fe and has a copy of the extra ammeneties they offer, I would love to hear from you.
