Congrats!!! Everything looked amazing!! Did you have a private reception? Which restaurant did you choose? Did you use Tai Flora for flowers? Did you and all your bridesmaids get your hair done at the Spa...were you happy with them? Sorry for all the ???'s lol

Hey....I think the size is perfect for a bridesmaid bouquet, I was happy with how real they look, they are the real touch material, not a fabric/silk material. They are a bit more ivory in colour than what they advertise on there website, I am going to re-do them a bit by adding in the pink lotus flowers. My girls dresses are a bright fuchsia /coral colour so I don't mind a bit of the ivory. They shipped from US to Canada with FedEx, delivered right to the door, no duty tax and within three days. Would definitely recommend!! Hope this helps!!!

HAIR APPOINTMENTS I was wondering how far in advance you girls made or are making appointments to get your hair done at the salon. Do we do this with the WC? Or does the spa have a specific email? Thanks

Just an FYI....I just received my real touch flowers from the website www.afloral.com I received them in three days after ordering! I am extremely happy with them! I have 6 bridesmaids and decided it would cut costs doing real touch bouquets. I ordered 6 pre-made bouquets of pink/white orchids, I ordered 6 bright pink lotus flowers to add into the bouquet. I also ordered two stems of orchids to make boutonnieres for the groomsmen. I ordered a few extra lotus flowers maybe to add to my bouquet. I believe I paid just under $120 (including shipping).

I am traveling with ACV as well. My TA never mentioned anything about an upgrade to Executive. She said that our entire group would be seated together. I inquired when I first booked about any kind of incentive if you book so many people, and we were told for every 25 people booked the 26th is free. Right now we have 49 people booked, 40 of them with ACV, so we have one trip paid for, which is amazing. My TA told me this is an ACV incentive, I am not sure she would have told me if I had not asked....so it's definitely worth a try!!

I am getting married at the IRHB on Feb. 1, 2012. I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on the huppa/arch. I have seen pictures of both, do we have a choice or does it just depend on which property you get married at. Also, do they charge extra if you bring some of your own decorations, for them to set them up? Thanks!!

I have a question about the arch/huppa. Do we have the option of either, I feel like I have seen pictures of an arch as well as a huppa? If so is there a cost for one or the other? Thanks!

I am booked at the IRHB Feb.1/2012. Just wondering if anyone has recently priced out the different florists. What are the options from Tai Flora in terms of what is included in the wedding package? Any pics?? Just wondering if it is worth looking into another florist?

Fuchsia Chair Sashes Please..........My wedding is not until Feb.1, 2012 but I would love to start purchasing my decorations. I would also be interested in any fuchsia material (looking to add colour to my arch/huppa). I live just outside of Toronto if this helps. This is such a great idea!!!!!

It also took some time for Elizabeth to get back to me when I sent in my papers. But she finally did. I am still waiting to hear back from her regarding a different matter. I am planning on getting married here in Canada and than do the renewal of vows ceremony. For me I just thought this would make matters of paperwork easier to deal with. Does anyone have any info regarding this (marriage license, record of solemnization). My travel agent got us a deal for $1549 taxes in through Air Canada as well. I am traveling Jan.28-Feb.4 2012. I thought this was pretty good. I believe she is based out of Toronto but I have dealt with her by phone and email. She has been amazing with accommodating all my requests. I just picked up some pink and white lanterns from Dollerama, I plan on hanging them on the chairs that line the aisle!! I saw a picture somewhere and I thought they looked great, added colour, but I can't find it anywhere!!

I did see those lanterns at Dollerama!! I think I may just grab them. I was looking on the website paperlanternstore.com, but I think if I just look around I could find them cheaper. The nice thing about that website is they have all sorts of colours and sizes. Thanks for sharing!!

I love all your ideas!! I am actually doing the exact same centerpieces for my AHR. Right now I am looking into buying paper lanterns (pink and white) to hang at the reception site for the hotel. I will probably bring them home though to use at my reception at home. I might also bring some extra decor for the beach ceremony, I have seen some girls bring some extra material in their colours for the arch. Are you girls planning on a beach ceremony? I am trying to keep the costs down, but would like to do some extras!! I have all the pricing lists that the wedding coordinator sent me. I have booked my wedding date but have not yet booked my trip lol. I plan to do that soon! I will be flying out of Toronto probably Jan 28-Feb 4.

I finally reserved my wedding date!!!!! Things are starting to feel real. One thing that concerns me is I received an email stating the Tameica the wedding coordinator is not returning to work!?! Has anyone else heard this. I have heard nothing but good things about her. Has anyone had a private beach reception at the IRHB?
