  1. I ordered the sashes off that site. They came so fast and the color is dead on!! They look great.
  2. Etsy :: dearemma :: Dear Emma Stationery - Wedding Stationery - Welcome!! This is the lady who made my menus, programs, and placecards. Ill post a picture when I figure out how to. She was great to work with. She customized my colors and the theme I wanted. She would send me proofs and I would give her the ok. It only took about 2 weeks from start to getting them in the mail.

  6. I think I am just going to use plain white gift bags with a LOVE stamp on the front. That way I can just put better stuff inside them. They cost 10 for 16 bags. Thanks for all your help though.
  7. Im getting married at the same hotel as you and she told me it was fine as well. I talked to two people to confirm it. I just have to purchase a guest pass like you said.

  9. I was trying to find oot bags that the guys would actually use. I cant find one. I was thinking that I can buy the girls each a bag and the people who are coming as a couple I can put thier stuff both in the girls bag. Then I can just add something extra into the bag for the guys. Do you think this is a good idea or do you think I should find something for the guys?

So email me and I will get you as much as I have. That stinks that your coordinator is not getting back to you. She might have just been off for the holidays. My coordinator was off until today.

  13. Yazmin is my wedding coordinator also. She has been great. We are getting married on Feb 6th. We are having a private reception. I think it is taking place on the roof of the Mundaca restaurant.
  14. Does anyone know of a really good restaurant in Playa Del Carmen that we could go to for our rehearsal dinner? We really wanted good food with a nice atmosphere. We have looked into a couple restaurants but we could use some recommendations. We will have about 23 people attending.
  15. Has anyone been to this resturant in Playa del Carmen or know anybody who has. We are thinking of having our Reherseal Dinner here and will have 23 people. We have called the place a couple times and emailed trying to make a reservation but have not heard back from them. We are looking for a good seafood/steak place if anybody has any different suggestions but we thought this place looked fun.
  16. Dont worry we arent switching any more. We cant get out of our wedding contract and anyway the dates werent avaliable so I guess it wasnt meant to be. We are still really excited about our wedding. Thank you all for the advice.

We just found out we wont get back our deposit for ASP of 1100 for the wedding and any guest that has booked has to pay 50 bucks to cancel. So obviously if we change we have to cover those costs plus the extra price of the new hotel. I got my heart set on this hotel and im not sure im i can afford all of that right now.

  19. Thanks guys we have a lot to consider fast. Overall we have a pretty laid back family. Im not so sure they would be terribly upset. Im sure we would hear it alittle. With the wedding cooridinator not getting back to you fast is a concern. The wedding coordinator gets back to us that day or the next day at our current resort. Not everyone has booked yet. Really only our parents have booked. Everyone has thier flights though and they all fly into cancun.

My suggestion - Show your current resort the wedidng set up at Excellence and ask them to copy it. Then, the day after your ceremony, go to Excellence for a few days to enjoy your first few days as a married couple privately. Our current resort cannot copy what we want because there is not a beach at ASP. You can only have the wedding in a gazeboo.
