  1. I wonder if renters/homeowners insurance covers puppy accidents. Think of this as an opportunity to update your decorations. Err... or something like that.
  2. What a cute idea. I think it will look good on the luggage tags. Maybe you could have your FI pick out another pic for some of his favorite guest's luggage tags -- then it is a compromise.
  3. OH MAN! I want to watch... hmm... hurry off to the tv to see if I can find it on demand...

Welcome to the forum! There are a lot of Moon Palace brides -- jump on in!
  5. The transgender thing... I mean... I have a friend who transitioned... so I try and "get it" but I don't. I've never been "trapped" by my body and needed to change my gender. I know there is a lot of hype about a "man getting pregnant" -- but the reality is, he just changed his socialized gender is taking hormones. I'm glad they are happy -- and most importantly, I'm glad that a baby will grow up loved. I just don't get it. If I decided I wanted to be a cat and started living my life as a cat, I doubt people would accept it. They'd say, "no, you were born a human." And even if I said "but I was born incorrectly, I am actually a cat." They would probably take me someplace happy until I got my head on straight again. *sigh*
  6. I agree with everything that has been said... you want your wedding hair to reflect "you" -- so no need to grow it out to make it look like some picture in a magazine.
  7. Oh yay! You guys are gonna love that for years to come!
  8. Oh wow. How pretty!! I love the "theater in the round" look for the ceremony -- what a great way to bring intimacy to the ceremony.

  10. I picked Moon Palace because we'd have 50-60 people and the group booking benefits are great... the way I understand, you book 25 rooms and you get unlimited private functions (so if you want a private welcome dinner, a cocktail hour, a dinner reception, a ladies lunch, and a goodbye brunch... go for it)... and then the bride and groom also get 7 nights free. Promotions ... those group benefits are great! To help us meet our room block, we've offered to our friends and family to pay the per person difference between a quad room and a double room... so instead of getting just one room booked, we get two... Saves them some money and helps us meet our room block.
  11. Oh man. That sucks. Way to stand up for yourself.

  13. Oh Edna ... thank you so much for your courage to share the difficult times you are walking through right now. My FI and I are apart right now. It has been 43 days... long story... but the seperation was ordered by one of our pastors so that both of us could go through healing. We were engaged 2 weeks before our seperation... so I know that walking the road is tough... and I personally have walked with the pressure of trying to explain, continue planning, and keep my own heart and feelings in check. It sucks. If there is any encouragement, take it in this: Jorge recognizes that he loves you more than anything and he recognizes he needs time to sort it out in his mind so he can make the most loving decision for you.
  14. Oh!! Those are so beautiful!! I bet it was just the wedding of your dreams!
  15. Oh man... that sucks!! Good move deferring to management. Do you guys use Sharepoint or just a network file share?
  16. On to one of my favorite baby names... its a little girl named Gratia (pronounced Graw tea uh) ... as in Soli Gratia (by grace alone).

  18. Oh man... this is the best thread ever!! I knew twins once... their mom named them: Star Flower Flower Star ...and I grew up in a small town that prided itself on it's strawberries... there was a girl named Strawberry Fields.
