  1. First, contact the company and ask them if they can re-direct the website traffic to your new domain. That would be the easiest way for you, ALSO - you can add the new domain to your page, and another option would be to email everyone with your new domain as well. There shouldn't be an issue with them redirecting the traffic to your new domain.....
  2. Buenos Tardes, Bonitas!!!!! I'm FINALLY on the eve of choosing my STD design, and I'm asking if you all would graciously assist me with my decision. disclaimer: The photos are examples, obviously they are not photos of my FI and I :-) The colors of our wedding are turqoise/deep vibrant blues, burt deep oranges, and black. So the STD will reflect these colors..... Below are what my FI and I have narrowed it down: This last one is a magnet......
  3. I am going dress shopping next month - so far this is the dress that has become my obsession. I may look around a bit more, as the men are wearing linen pants and Guayabera's.....
  4. I have been against the Bottle Invites, but after seeing yours, you have changed my mine. You did a fabulus job - very tastefully made, bravo to you!!!!!
  5. Chidi Ogbuta of Allen, Texas, had a wedding cake made to look exactly like herself. I wouldn't feel so comfortable watching my new husband slice into me with a knife.
  6. I love those!!! Never thought about having cups, but I might just add that now - brilliant idea!
  7. I LOVE decorating as a matter of fact I'm in college as a Interior Design major - friends hire me on the side as well. I would recommend a quality paint like Ralph Lauren, Martha Stewart, or Eddie Bauer for your room, becuase you will typically only need one coat with the higher quality. Also, I HIGHLY recommend that you use a primer such as Kilz, prior to painting of course - you will NOT regret this. As for the color, I would go with a sandpaper, taupe, or italian leather......I would set it off with fantastic drapes that are a deep chocolate, fabulous deep red/cranderry color.....be sure to get extra long drapes and hang the rod much higher than the window sill and allow the fabric to drape on your floor (kinda like a slouch) and then go to TJ Maxx, Hobby Lobby or Michael's and find some rustic ornamental pices to go over the window (between the top of the curtains and your ceiling) this will allow for a beautiful dramtic effect. Your room is large so play it up and have fun. I hope this helps

Congrats and welcome to the forum! We're getting married in Riviera Maya on a private beach, and reception will be at Casa de Agua in the town of Playa!

Check it out at: www.dahlchai.com Thank you!! Nice wedding website! I beleive that it it the type of template (design) that you chose - as a matter of fact I'm confident of this reason. I've gone through several different designs, and finally chose my current design to stick with becuase I can edit verbiage, and the speed. I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any additional questions. And Congratulations!!!!
  11. Congratulations on your wedding - but the review made me frustrated that you received the treament from some of the individuals - very insightful and helpful for future brides that will be married there or are thinking of marrying there.
  12. I just cried watching your slide show - you can see your love come through....Thank you for sharing....this made me more awake in my love as well. Congratulations.
  13. A load of relief on your side for setting the date - just a month prior to mine. YEAH!!!!!
  14. Oh sweetie, I am so terribly sorry that you are going through this. My heart goees out to you both. I am sure that everything will come out fine. Stay strong, think positive, and if there is anything I can do please let me know - research, just to talk, anything!!!! ((HUGS))
  15. I wouls also recommend Yazmin De La Mora; she is also a member of BDW. She is planning my wedding and is incredibly pleasant and professional to work with. Yazmin De La Mora - Weddings & Catering p.s. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I'm confused as well!!!! I love Wedding Paper Divas, but do I send the STD now, and then a formal invitation 3-month's prior?
  17. I am going to use Yazmin De La Mora. I have contacted several wedding coordinators, and she has been hands down the most responsive (immediate response), most professional, has sent tools to accurately calculate our budget, she flexible, and she has payment options, and plans. I am a shrewd consumer, and always expect great service, and will pay for what I want. Many of the coordinators you listed I have been corresponding with, and from "my experience" she has outshined them all in every category. As a matter of fact, this is the first time that I have felt any comfort in my planning the DW. I hope this helps, please let me know if I can assist you in any other ways!

I can certainly ask her if she has a contact number for Charlie and Maria, and let you know what she says. Where are you having your ceremony and reception? If you are able to handle everything without the help of a coordinator, then that's fantastic and helps out with costs so much!! I have a friend (who also didn't have a WC) have a close friend, who wasn't in the wedding party, help her out by acting as the WC the day of. Are you having someone do this for you too? It's def. a good idea so you won't have to stress about anything ~ it's your day and instead you can just plan on looking beautiful and soaking in every moment By the way I LOVE your dress in your siggy pic, it's gorgeous ~ Thank you for the dress compliment! I have decided to go with Yazmin De La Mora as my wedding coordinator; she is the most feasible and has been the most professional, and extremely organized! She too works with Charlie and Maria-bonus! The ceremony will be on a private beach in Playacar - similiar to Sol Tomorgo and Matt Adcock's wedding. The reception will be held at Casa del Agua restaurant in Playa del Carmen. I agree that I do not want to stress on my wedding day - too much going on!
  19. I've been to both. Personally, Riviera Maya is much more beautiful - lush jungle, stunning beaches, not your "typical" crazy party life. Although, let me say that Playa del Carmen (located in Riviera Maya) has an outstanding and classier night life. The night life has beach clubs that are known world wide. I have been visiting that region (Cancun & Riviera Maya) my entire life, and I have family that live there. Mother nature does play part of the beaches; however, the island of Cozumel protects Riviera Maya Beaches from a lot of the seaweed, etc that a storm might bring to the beaches. Riviera Maya is more catered to adults, and those that want a more quiet, relaxing vacation, hence the cost being more than what you will pay in Cancun. I hope this helps.
