This situation could stir the pot for problems...especially when others find out only a "select" few children or "under age" are invited. I recommend having an adult only party. In my opinion, those who came to the wedding with their children should not get offended if they're not invited to this event. It can simply be explained that this is for all adults that were unable to attend the DW. This is more easily explained then having to explain why some children were invited and others not. It is very bad etiqutte if you choose otherwise. The attendees at your DW will more than likely not be offended with this offering since thier children celebrated in that event. Congratulations, and good luck with planning.

Did you have an opportnity to visit the restaurant during your stay?

I haven't heard of any "Day Only" coordinators, but I'm willing to bet that they are out there. I have exchanged emails with almost all WC's listed thus far, and am very close to choosing the coordinator within the month. So far, Yazmin De La Mora has been the most professional and responsive, and most importantly she's very detailed. I found out about her from Sol Tomargo, the other coordinator's have delayed in responding to my emails, have not been discriptive in their services, and the list goes on. This is my two cents, and I hope members find it useful.

Good luck with the talk. I am paying for everything as my fiance is a full-time student, and his parents think we've lost our mind having a destination wedding. Everyone's situation is different. Take it as a blessing if they decide to help. Good luck, and congratulations.

First of all, this is yor wedding, and anyone with a mind *should* know that it is bad taste to "assume" you guys are going to pay for their day pass. There is wedding etiqutte that goes unspoken and this is one of them. That really bites that they would choose another location, but you can't control everyone. I would not put any wording on the STD's - I don't think it would be approapriate due to the small group that would be the target of this information. I would simply call them and let them know or if you have a website, definitely indicate it on there.
