I just did a trial order. Shipping is a little bit more than I expected. So I'm gonna bump the price $7 for every 50 postcards since I need to buy envelopes and ship them to all you girls. It's still a lot cheaper than getting extras you don't need or buying them in Mexico. Sound good?

I had the same problem. I didn't have anyone I thought was MOH material and that close to me who I would choose. I have two wonderful girls as my BM's. They're from different states/countries and won't be able to celebrate with me the way normal BM's would. But, they're friends and they're willing to spend the money to come to my wedding. How about just doing BM's and having your FI just pick groomsmen?

I'm hoping we only get 20 guests or so. Anymore we'll be paying $45 a piece for. Which will bring our budget up even more. I'm having 2 BM's no MOH. I wanted a small party with close friends who are willing to travel for my wedding withouth complaining.

We originally planned a destination wedding thinking it would bring down the cost. We all know how that turns out! We would be fine if we weren't paying for both sets of our parents. We originally wanted to give each set $1,000 to put towards their tickets/accomodations. Once FI's parents say they couldn't afford it we said "fine, well pay for both parents" bad decision. We're looking at over $2,600 for each set. If both parents decided to suck it up and help it would bring our cost down a lot. I mean, I've lowered my photographer and photography package to bring the price down $1k. It seems like nomatter what we save, or cut down on prices just keep rising. We're less than 16 months out now, and I'm already freaking out. Anyone going through the same thing?

I'm looking for Woven fiber paper similar to Woven Fiber Paper (Natural Weave) that is less expensive. I'm only going to get about 4 invites per sheet, and at $10 a sheet it's going to bring costs up A LOT. Does anyone know where I can get something similar, or a raffia type paper to use instead?

I just wanted to let you girls know some of the cameras are expired- be sure to check out the exp dates before purchasing!

I have some real Touch hair flowers for sale, that I made the other night. The orchids are about 3 inches wide. And the roses are about 5-6 inches wide. I have a yellow rose, and pink rose. So 3x20=60, if you can do it like this it will help out a lot. -how many designs. I might do more than 3 if more people are interested. It's going to cost me $10 to upload graphics and get them sent to me. I'll need to do this with EACH order of 100 so we get the cards for free. So, I am thinking $6 shipped for each 50 post cards you purchase. If you do odd numbers I'll adjust the price. How does this sound? I will be taking payment before I order so I know how many people really want to purchase and split an order.

The Excellence is what prompted me to want a destination wedding. Unfortunately, our budget is being hit pretty hard with the pricing of the Excellence. I love everything about it, and everything about the wedding packages I love as well. But we have 7 tickets/rooms to pay for, and at almost $1,300 a person for 4 days/3 nights...it's getting expensive. Especially when it's around $6,500 for us alone. Dreams is around $400 less a person, and it's my second choice. I know it's my second choice just because of the "what if" we can't afford the Excellence. So I was wondering what you girls would say. What are good point of Dreams, or the Excellence. What are your suggestions? Pictures are wonderful and appreciated, too.

This is normal. I have been emailing back and forth for a few months and she always seems to send me an information/introduction email. I guess she gets so many emails she doesn't remember if she spoke to you previously. Sometimes she tends to give simple replies, and that bothers me. I asked if a bouquet can have the colors changed, and gave her specifics that I wanted the roses pink instead of orange. She replied back "if flowers come in that color"...okay. I saw a great idea from another member. I want to buy some postcards from Vistaprint of Mexico for our guests to put in the OOT bags we're doing. The thing is we only need 20 max. Vistaprint only prints 100, and that's way too many for us. Is anyone interested in purchasing the others from me? I want to do maybe 3 designs. I can get the cards for free, but I would ask for shipping. It would depend on how many you would need. Just let me know if you're interested.

I plan on using that site for our sashes as well. Do you still have your sashes? If you're interested in selling them, let me know. We're going to be buying the same color, and I'd definitely take them off of your hands.

I'm wondering about the same thing. We're spending a little bit more on invites because we won't have many to do. Our woven paper is $10 a sheet, and we get 4 invites out of one piece, having to send extra invites out knowing that person isn't coming and I spent so much on that invite is what gets to me. I might order a few extra sheets of tan card stock and use that for the invites for t hose who said they can't make it. They still get an invite and I won't have to worry about it getting trashed.
