  1. I took my siggy pic with my camera phone this morning so the quality isn't great. My little boy pug Obi will find my pajamas, wherever I put them, and sleep on top of them. It's so sweet! I think he misses me and wants to snuggle with my scent . Now when I take them off I put them on the bed so he can get cozy.

We would love to do a sunset beach wedding and then a nighttime reception. I also like the all-inclusiveness of the resort, as opposed to having each guest rack up an unknown liquor bill! There was a former cruise bride on here who I belive was married in the evening. She found a cruise that had a two day stop in Bermuda (I think?). That gave them more flexibility on times.
  4. That's a pretty broad question! I think there are pros and cons to each choice and just depends on what you are looking for in your wedding trip. Here are a few pros and cons on a cruise wedding after our experience: Pros: Everyone is together on the ship. It was nice to casually run into people and visit. Dinner together in the main dining room every night was a nice time to check in with guests and mingle. Plenty of activities planned by the cruiseline to keep guests busy, no need to entertain. Schedule is very easy to follow for guests as far as ports of call, activities, etc. With a cruise you don't have to deal with different guests booking different resorts but still coming to your wedding. Cons: Everyone is together on the ship . I'm not sure if a resort would offer more space and privacy? Probably depends on the size of the ship you sail or resort you book. Cruising isn't for everyone and we missed out on having a few people join us that didn't want to go on a cruise. They would have been way more likely to attend if it was on land. If you pick a 7 day intinerary your guests have to stay 7 days. With a resort, they can make it as short or long of a vacation as they want to. My cruise review is in my siggy. Good luck!
  5. I love Survivor! Will definitely be watching.

The Virgin Islands is really easy - you just fill out all the paperwork ahead of time and when you arrive at the port you would just need to go to the courthouse to pick up your license which is ready to go (with an escort is best). If you speak to a WC in the area (Island Beach Weddings or Perfect Virgin Island Wedding Day) they can arrange everything for you and get you where you need to go and get married wherever you choose on the island! : ) Hope this helps some! I'm not sure they have the same requirements. St. Thomas is a territory of the United States. St. Maarten is French and Dutch. The WC on the island would know exactly what you'll need to be married there legally. Different websites seem to have different requirements listed. This one says you must be on the island two days before your wedding (Dutch side only): St Martin Marriage Requirements - St Martin Weddings
  7. Next summer is going to be a long wait!!
  8. A certificate for a pedicure would probably come in handy! Sounds like she is a little behind me in pregnancy and I can no longer reach my feet comfortably! You could also do slippers or a bathrobe for the hospital. GAP has these great long sleeve t's that are super comfortable and great for layering (I bought two): Shop clothes for women, men, maternity, baby, and kids | Gap
  9. The end of the finale was awesome! Does anyone know when the next season starts?
  10. I like Jordan. She is the first to admit she wouldn't be where she is at in the game without Jeff. If she wouldn't have gotten along with everyone and played the role she has, she also wouldn't have made it this far. I do think Jeff carried her a long way but her personality and relationships with other HG's did too.
  11. I'm so happy for her! She did wait a long time to be a mom and it's awesome it's happening again.

She keeps saying she doesn't want anyone to know how strong she is and that is why she doesn't win. Yeah, right! I don't believe her. I do think she is playing a strong mental game though. She has stirred up a lot of sh*t and has completely tricked J/J.
  13. Yes, Artie looked a lot better! His girlfriend looks really young and tan . She is cute, but they don't look like a couple to me.

  15. We were married in the rain! You just have to go with it. They set up a tent over our guests and we stood under a gazebo. We all got wet, it wasn't ideal, but we had our special day and left married.
  16. I don't believe you'd meet the legal requirements for a wedding in St. Maarten coming off a cruise...
  17. I'm still watching!! I like Kevin, Michele or Jeff to win. I don't think Jordan has done enough to deserve a win. And Natalie does well with relationship game play but sucks at comps. And I can't believe the other HG's haven't figured out she is not 18 years old! DUH! She's even had a drink here and there. CBS would not let her drink underage on live television.
  18. Wow! Stunning pictures! Your photographer did a great job! I need to start planning my next cruise...the cruise itch is killing me!
  19. We considered a shorter cruise but decided to do a 7 day. We figured people were taking time off work and forking out the money, might as well make it a full week of fun! I think no matter what you will feel the pull in all directions to spend time with your guests. Even if they aren't expecting it from you. When I think back to my wedding cruise the word intense comes to mind. Something about seeing people from different parts of your life all spending time together is kind of crazy! And not just a little bit of time but an entire week! Plus traveling as a group and being together so much is an experience. We had no drama or bad times, it was just intense having everyone there all week long. I have two regrets from our cruise: Not hiring and/or bringing our own photographer for the wedding (we used the resort's photographer instead) and not taking a separate honeymoon.
  20. That's an amazing turn of events! Congrats on the adoption!
  21. I'm so happy for you Danielle!!! How are you feeling?
  22. I think Chima was speculating that Jordan knew of Jeff's power which would disqualify him from using it. She was just being a sore loser. I watched a little bit of After Dark from last night. Jeff was telling Russell that not only do they all want Chima out of the house but probably all of the people behind the scenes and in production! Ha!
