  1. That sounds amazing!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to be on Freedom!
  2. That sounds like a much better plan
  3. I LOVE Survivor!!!!!!!! I'm a reality tv addict but this is one of my favorites. We do a Survivor pool at work. Each person draws a Survivor cast member name for $5/each. The winner gets the pot. I have Bob and Jacquie so I will be routing for them!
  4. I can't wait for tonight!!!!!!!! I saw on a promo and it was McDreamy's soon to be ex (the nurse, Rose) saying she was carrying his baby?!?!?! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
  5. It looks like a great shower!! I love the candy buffet! I thought about the opening presents deal a lot before my shower and that helped me deal with it. You should be just fine for your wedding!
  6. Best wishes Shelly for a healthy future!!!
  7. Amazing pictures Casey!!! I love one of the first ones where you have your head resting on his shoulder/chest. So sweet! The white shirt was totally the right call!
  8. I've had the same problem with my TA. When she's on, she does great. But there is for sure a lack of communication. I would address it again and if it's still a problem find someone who may be more available to you. I thought I could deal with her slow response time but it has started to affect our guests. Keep that in mind if your guests will be contacting your TA.
  9. How about a cruise? Of course I am partial to them because that's what we chose . With a cruise you will stop at several islands/countries and be on the ocean the entire time! Plus, the cost can be very affordable depending on what you choose.
  10. Greys and Lost are my favs! I'm also excited for the last season of ER and a few reality shows like Survivor and Amazing Race.
  11. Hello BDWers! Yesterday was our first and only wedding shower. Some of you may have read my shower anxiety post a week or so ago. I was a little nervous going into this adventure! FI & I are both not center of attention types so it we were just a little anxious about it . Plus, our families were meeting for the first time and we've been together almost 13 years! Crazy, I know! So we got to the park early to settle in and be there to greet our guests. Here's me and FI arriving at the park. My cousin had leis for us to "lei each other" with Here are some pictures of the park: They went with a beach and picnic theme and put out a few decorations. My cousin was so proud of the his and hers dolphin balloon find! The whole time i'm thinking, I've got to remember to take lots of pictures for BDW! It's easy to get overwhelmed and forget. There are a lot of pictures I wish I would have taken. If this is how a shower feels I can't imagine what a wedding will feel like! I highly recommend asking friends or family to snap some photos for you ahead of time. Most likely they will be doing it anyway. We spent the day hanging out with about 50 or so family and friends, playing outdoor games like volleyball, had a yummy BBQ/picnic, opened presents, and served cake. Here's our delicious cake with our logo courtesy of BDWs Amy! I love how the cake turned out and everyone thought the logo was great!!! And a few more random pictures of FI & I opening gifts: My two favorite gifts were a KitchenAid Mixer (in red) and a huge gas BBQ grill!!! I really couldn't believe we received these gifts! They weren't on our registry but for sure things we wanted! It was a big surprise and so generous! Overall the shower went really well! We were both nervous right up until it started but that faded away quickly. And the wine and beer probably helped too . I was sick with a fever the entire time but didn't tell anyone because I didn't want to ruin what they had worked so hard to put together. I think I hid it well . Our families met for the first time and really seemed to enjoy each others company. It was also good to get them together before we all spend a week on a cruise ship in February! So many people worked their butts off to make it such a special day and we felt very loved to have something like this put together in our honor!
  12. At the BB wrap party the tradition is to play a gag reel the producers put together. It's something for those at the party only, it's not released for public viewing. Every year someone secretly videotapes it and puts it on YouTube. Here's this year's video and it's really funny! YouTube - Big Brother 10 GAG REEL!!!
  13. That's awesome! Arrrr...I changed ye facebook mateys!
  14. This pirate walks into a bar with a big ship's wheel down his pants. The bartender says, "Excuse me, sir, but do you know you have a ship's wheel down the front of your pants?" And the pirate says... Aaargh, it's driving me nuts!!
  15. I think the whole finale thing could be longer. They should show more of the houseguests seeing footage and finding out about others dirty little secrets! Here is a letter Gretchen Massey (host of big brother internet show) posted after attending last nights wrap party: 9/19/08 1:38am Hey All! I just got back from the BB10 wrap party and I had a fabulous time. Not only was the season 10 cast there, but so many other past house guests as well. I have to say, Dan and Memphis are some of the most gracious winners I've ever met--they could not have been nicer. In fact, they signed the Team Dan shirt I wore on HCs (as did the rest of the BB10 house guests, plus some of the past guests--I'll be auctioning off the shirt for charity on EBay soon--stay posted for those details...) and they couldn't have seemed more in love with their girlfriends. I talked to Chelsea and Crazy James (who's moving to France on Wednesday to 'get away from it all'), BB6 James was there, Erica and my favorite, dear friend Marcellas. Sheila was there with her hot, younger comedian boyfriend, and Chicken George was completely working the room. Danielle has totally warmed up to Keesha after meeting at tonight's wrap party--I even saw them taking pics together like the best of (somewhat identical) friends. Evel Dick was there with a foxy date, and Bunky actually brought a super-fan from San Fran. Libra looked gorgeous, but I didn't get a chance to meet her husband. Get this--not only her hubby, but all her kids are out here too--they're making a bit of a vacation of it. Jessie was, well...Jessie. April and Ollie still look like quite the couple together, and could not have been friendlier and in a better mood. Jerry was great on the dance floor with his daughter, and it was cute to see Renny and her husband Patrick together after so long. Steven was in a great mood from riding, and Brian and Angie were super cool as usual--right up to Angie busting my husband's balls for saying, 'Congratulations'---she asked, 'For what? I lost!'. Okay, it was funny at the time... The gag reel was absolutely hilarious! It featured a Graduate tribute featuring footage of Renny and Dan 'flirting' and Jerry saying 'Plastic'. It also had a Jerry Gone Wild segment, with the old guy running around the house topless, and his nipples bleeped out. And a batman take called The Dan Night, with Dan in his black cape and Renny in her white facial cream and red lips, looking like Heath Ledger's Joker! And they put together a montage of Michell in the diary room asking for wine and beer, beer and wine, just wine, just beer, and then some hard alcohol (don't worry, she had a great sense of humor about it!) Well done, whoever done it... Overall, a nice ending to a great season. And best of all, it was announced that there absolutely will be a BB11 next summer, so we have that to look forward to. Well I'm exhausted, and I'm going to bed--we took a ton of awesome photos which I will put up on our site CrackinUp Radio some time tomorrow--I'll send you the direct link as soon as I do. But in the meantime, here's a couple of shots to whet your whistles... Take care, Gretchen
