Here's one FI & I have made a few times and enjoy. You could sub turkey for beef. This is more of a southwest version of chili. The corn cakes in this recipe are really yummy! Beef and Black Bean Chili with Green Onion Corn Cakes Recipe : Rachael Ray : Food Network

That recipe sounds really tasty! You mentioned cornbread so I thought I would share this recipe. It's one of our favorites: Cracked Corn and Cheese Squares: 1 8.5 oz. package corn muffin mix, mixed to package directions Softened butter to grease baking dish 1/3 pound Monterey jack or pepper jack cheese, cut into 1/4" cubes 1/2 C frozen corn kernels 2 scallions, thinly sliced Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease an 8 inch square baking dish with butter. Stir cheese, corn, and scallions into corn muffin batter. Pour batter into baking dish and bake at 400 degrees until golden, approx 15 minutes. We use pepper jack cheese to give it a kick. You could also add chilies or jalapenos. We usually serve it with chili or as a side dish with fajitas.

I have a funny HS story to share... Maybe like a year ago or a little less my FI was on Myspace and found Elliot Offen's page! That guy is for real crazy...not just on the show crazy. So, we were checking out his pictures and noticed he had a pic of Gary and his son. I thought that was really strange as first of all he's crazy, and second Gary's son is a minor. This was during the time Elliot had hit and killed a woman and also went nuts on the show and they were considering banning him for safety reasons. I told my FI we should really send in a comment to the show and let someone know. If I were Gary I would want that picture the heck off his website. My FI was like don't email them. They will never see it, blah blah blah. I've never been a caller or emailer to the show but decided to go for it. I used a link on their website and sent an email. To my surprise not even a few hours later I had a response! And guess who it was from....JD! HA! The story gets better. He got my email, took my address, plugged it into Myspace and found my page. He then proceeded to hit on me and tell me I was "cute" and said "i'm shameless, I know LOL". HAHAHA! I was dying laughing and also flattered. I showed FI and he thought it was hilarious! I think JD does have a little game in him after all ! Did you all ever see the videos people made for the Howard Stern Film Festival? One of them was a guy who tricked JD into thinking he was a girl and eventually having online webcam "sex". In the end he revealed his man parts on webcam to JD and you see JD log off quickly! So funny! Anyway, I can see how it would be totally easy to lure JD into a funny scam like that! I thought fellow fans of the show would get a kick out of this

Heather - My uncle had that procedure done twice. He was totally fine both times so try not to worry. I know that is easier said than done but it's a really common procedure. I'll keep you in my thoughts!

History : Weather Underground Looks like there's a good chance of a beautiful day in Jamaica! My dream weather day would be high 70s, party cloudy, light breeze, and low humidity! A girl can dream, right?!?!

I hope it will be plenty warm for the beaches in February! We chose this time of year hoping to catch the perfect weather. Nothing too steamy and unbearable but warm enough to be on the beach! I didn't want to be dripping sweat on my wedding day! Let’s keep our fingers crossed!!!

So what made everyone choose February for their wedding month? We really wanted to go somewhere warm during the freezing cold winter months we have here in MN. Also, one of our super good friend's were expecting their first baby last winter. We wanted to make sure to steer clear of her due date because we knew they wouldn't want to be gone over her 1st birthday. We chose a date 3 weeks after her due date and low and behold she was 3 weeks overdue! She ended up having the baby on 1/30 and we leave 1/31 for the cruise! Pheeewww!

Very nice hair inspiration pics girls! I'm going all up because of the heat. I don't want hair sticking to my back...yuck! My hairdresser said to skip the hair trial. She said it only puts expectations on my wedding day hair and no two stylists will be able to do it the same. So, i'm just going to go for it on my wedding day! Scary!
