  1. Hey Susan!!!! How have you been? I'm still around now and again . And still loving Howard! Anyone heard how Artie is doing? Howard keeps mentioning going to Temple to pray for someone. Do you think that's Artie he's talking about?
  2. That spoiler option is so neat!! This season of BB is so boring and I am depressed about it. I don't even get into reading the sites anymore. They need to liven it up! Come on BB we need an exciting twist! He he, had to try it!
  3. You are totally justified. It sounds like it might be better if she isn't there because she won't be able to upset you with all of her complaining and self centered behaivor. I'm sorry you have to deal with this.
  4. Welcome!! We sailed Royal Caribbean and got married while in port in Ocho Rios. We used a private planner from the island. Cruise weddings are so much fun! Good luck!
  5. It really doesn't matter because BDW is getting a major makeover on Tuesday. But that does seems strange it went away although it doesn't really impact anything for you.
  6. Great job! It looks very cute and I am sure she will love it!!
  7. First off congrats on your wedding! I was a guest off a cruise at this resort and it's gorgeous!!! I can't speak to any of the questions you asked other than to let you know how beautiful it is. I know my friends who were married there spoke highly of the people they worked with. Best wishes!

I think this guy is taking the easy route out by using his buddy's DW to propose. He should really get creative and do something special for her, not just use all of your efforts and planning for his own means. It is kind of selfish and she may even be emabarrassed to tell her friends/family where and when he did it. Maybe if you tell him this angle he will change his mind? Good Luck!! Does anyone know of a couple that got engaged at another wedding? How did that go over?? It is their vacation too. It's not taking the easy route using their vacation to propose. My goodness, he just wants to propose?! I can't even imagine telling people that are spending their hard earned money what they can and can't do on the trip. And not all girls need their boyfriends to do an over the top proposal. A romantic time alone on vacation sounds quite nice! Not everyone can afford to go on trips and for some people this could be a once in a lifetime thing. And to say she would be embarrassed by that is over the top. Who would say that?!
  9. Wow Kayte time is flying by! I can't believe how close you are. You know we'll need nursery pics when you get it set up .
  10. Yay Karla glad you liked the Angel Chicken! I think it's a pretty versatile recipe. We change it up with different veggies. Julie, I missed your mac and cheese post from a while ago. Definitely need to try that! Sounds delicious!!
  11. Good point Andi! Maybe us married ladies can look back at our wedding and remember what mattered and what didn't. Just because you might get a little less attention during the week shouldn't take away from what really matters. I guess I am in the minority here because I think he should be able to propose whenever he wants. Yes they are there for your wedding but that's only one day. And unless she is a total biznatch I can't imagine someone walking around with their ring in the air making it all about them. It will still be your day! In fact, it will be whatever you make it!
  12. Marriage requirements are much easier in St. Thomas! Edited to add: Just noticed you are in Canada so I'm not sure if the US is easier than Mexico?
  13. Oh my Danielle I just love Gavin! He looks like the perfect little snuggle buddy!
  14. Bumpity bump! I am 8 months postpartum and wondering if I have this. I read online that it's common postpartum and usually starts as hyper and switches to hypo. I had the hyper symptoms in the beginnging (depression, no appetite). Now I have achy joints in my legs/ankles/feet and I am gaining weight like crazy. I workout and eat healthy and still see the scale going up and up. When I walk I feel like an 80 year old hobbling around. I have an appt on the 23rd to talk to my doctor. Thanks everyone for sharing so much! Now I can make sure to get my TSH and free T3 and T4 tested. I've been reading this entire thread and taking notes.

  16. I don't have specific instructions but a few tips. I had a baby shower last summer and there were two diaper cakes. One was made with a hot glue gun and the other rubber bands. I could only salvage a few diapers from the one made with glue. It pretty much ruined the rest of the diapers. If you roll all the diapers and tie them with rubber bands it works great! They also put a bottle of baby dish soap in the middle to hold it all together. Very cute! Here are pics of both:
  17. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope your family gets answers soon and the person responsible rots.
  18. Love BB! The cast seems entertaining enough this season.

  20. Calia, have you been able to go to the doctor to try to get some answers? I think you mentioned it was an insurance issue before?

  22. Love this thread! We make this and it's really yummy: Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue Recipe - Allrecipes.com. I do the chicken on high for 3 hours, shred it, and then on low for 1 hour. You can use whatever flavor of BBQ sauce you feel like. Sometimes I throw in some diced onion. Here's another one of our favs: Habanero Pepper Cream Pasta Recipe - Allrecipes.com. I use fresh habanero instead of dried.
