I looked into shipping a small box to Jamaica. It would be very light and only have raffia fans and programs in it. They prefer I use DHL to ship. I priced it out and it was over $100. I think i'm going to stuff them in our luggage instead.

No, he's not there. I started listening about 30 minutes into the show and heard them say he was at the doctor and hoped to be in later. They were joking about his doctor being available to him at 6:30 a.m. Why couldn't he go to the doctor after the show? Is he THAT sick? Seems fishy...

But he did swear on his father's grave he was really actually sick. That makes me want to believe him. I dunno...I sure hope he is okay and back on the show tomorrow! IMO the show was kind of dull today and I rarely feel that way.

I thought I would add on here instead of posting another thread... So we found out today 4 more people booked to come on our wedding cruise! It's really exciting but to be honest my heading has been spinning since I found out and I can't unwind. There is so much information I have been sending out to everyone and I'm trying to remember it all to catch them up on the past 1+ year of planning! Ahhhhh! Plus, we started and finished a lot of our DIY projects. I still have to see if there is enough of everything! I'm one raffia fan short for the ceremony. Maybe I can buy one off of someone on BDW. Or maybe it's not a big deal if i'm one short. Plus I have to figure out the additional cost of adding 4 people to the ceremony, reception, and guest gifts. It's all worth it but I'm still having a minor coronary . The biggest bummer of it all is they booked online and didn't call my travel agent to even check her prices. We are one cabin short of qualifying for the next tier of benefits. And because they didn't book as a part of our group getting them in our dining requests is going to be so difficult. My TA is trying to see if it's even possible. With 27 of us total I hope it isn't impossible to be seated together. Okay, sorry for the long post! I had to vent to fellow cruise brides!

I can't thank you enough for all of this information and taking the time to respond!! I'm going to switch out my lotions, soap, and body wash ASAP. The hot shower thing will be a challenge but definitely worth it if I can get the eczema under control. Thank you again so much for all of your feedback and advice!

Hello! I knew I wanted to send my guests luggage tags as a part of their Pre Cruise Care Package. Deciding on a design was the tricky part! I came up with the idea to ask our guests to email us a few pictures from a favorite vacation they have taken. If they didn't have any from a vacation, a picture of something meaningful to them would work too. We told them it was for a little wedding project . Over the last few months (and with a few reminders ) they've been slowly rolling in. We took their pictures, printed them on heavy paper at Kinkos, and turned them into luggage tags! Each guest is getting two tags with their pic on the front and personal info on the back along with our monogram. I used Staples self laminating pouches w/loops. If anyone is interested in the template I can work on one and post it up. Just let me know! Here are pictures of the first batch: An idea of what the back looks like:

Here are a few pics of projects we've been working on: The bottles are done but I don't have pics yet. Here's a pic of the empty bottle and label we designed. You can't see the label well but it says Jamaican Rum, Est 2009: We made DIY luggage tags - 2/guest. We asked them to send us a few of their favorite pictures from past vacations. If they didn't have that we just asked for pictures that meant something to them. Of course we didn't tell them why we needed them! We just said they were for a little project. We turned their pictures into luggage tags using self-laminating pouches and put our logo on the back along with their personal information. Here's a pic of the front: And here's my t-shirt from Vista Print for the airplane . It says We're Tying the Knot!

My band was a little over budget too considering we didn't budget for one! Oh well, only get to do this once, right?! I just never thought I would find one that worked. We aren't having a bridal party either...I meant all of your FI's but that wasn't too clear, sorry. My FI tried on his sandals with his suit and it didn't look right. We'll either be buying him new sandals or dress shoes.

This thread has been pretty quiet! We are taking FI's suit to be altered this weekend. Still need to find him shoes. Are your men wearing sandals or dress shoes? I picked out a wedding band this weekend and I'm so excited about it! I didn't think we would find one that went well with my ering. I get to pick it up tonight! Yay!

Hello! I know i've seen something before with a cute poem or wording used to ask someone to be an honorary bridesmaid? Does anyone have anything to share? FI & I are getting married off a cruise in front of 21 family and friends. We decided against having a wedding party. My cousin who I am really close to is going to be one of our witnesses and also hand us the rings during the ceremony. I would like to give her a card explaining she is my Honorary Maid of Honor. If I did have one, she would be it. I've called her my Cousin of Honor in the past Any ideas? Thank you!
