  4. Oh my goodness DRAMA city! I can't wait to see what happens!
  5. Ahhh YouTube is blocked at work! Is someone willing to PM me a recap? It would be much appreciated!!!!
  6. My mom lost over 80 pounds with Curves. She said you have to follow their diet plan along with the workouts to see results.
  7. What a wonderful video! It brought happy tears to my eyes! You are a beautiful couple!
  8. Oh yeah, I read that too! It's Ace from Real World Paris!
  9. I was pretty surprised to see Jill go over Molly! I'm totally routing for Melissa! And I agree, they are editing it like crazy to make us think more happens than actually does.

  11. Everything looks wonderful! Enjoy your cruise/wedding! What ports of call do you have? Cozumel was one of our favorites!
  12. Hi pugmom, i'm a pug mom too! Sorry for the thread hijack
  13. I think on board credit is the most useful gift for a cruise wedding.
  14. We just got back from our cruise wedding. I didn't do OOT bags because of the same reason you mentioned, not wanting to bring it all with us. Instead, we put together a pre cruise care package and mailed them to guests about a month before sailing. We included a passport welcome book, personalized luggage tags, photoshare card, 2009 fridge magnet, and a message in a bottle letting them know we purchased additional on board credit for them. Everything was a hit and it got our guests excited for the upcoming trip! OOT bags are nice but I find that some of the stuff in them are things people already brought along. I have also been the recipient of one from a friend's wedding and the best thing about them was the beach bag itself! Here's my planning thread if you want to see pics of the pre cruise care package stuff: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t35429
  15. OMG Kat thank you SO MUCH for posting this!!! I don't know how I missed this thread a few weeks ago?! Probably because we were gearing up to leave for our wedding cruise . When Danielle mentioned the credit a few days ago it was the first DH & I had heard of it. I've been searching all day to try and figure out if we will qualify for the loan requiring repayment or credit with no repayment. Couldn't find anything at all regarding the details of what passed the Senate. The link you posted says the details on repayment for people buying their homes between April - December 2008 have yet to be determined. I'm so excited about this! It will truly help us a ton! Fingers crossed it's the no repayment !
  16. I just thought of one more! Wouldn't do: Get a manicure before leaving town. It was chipped and pealing off within a day or two of arriving for my wedding cruise. I had it redone on the ship and it turned out way better! If your wedding isn't for a few days after you arrive it maybe a good idea to wait until you get there.
  17. I attended a wedding there in October of 2006, totally beautiful location!
  18. I'm having a hard time believing he's 13! He looks like the 5th graders at my school!
  19. It will all workout okay!!! The ship will be fixed and in tip top condition for your wedding. After 11 years you deserve it!

We woke up to cooler temps, lots of humidity, wind, total overcast, and rain. I hoped it would pass but no such luck. Our WC asked that we be ready promptly at 1 p.m. because there was a break in the rain. Instead, our minister was missing and they had to find a new one. That pushed our ceremony back until 1:45. Luckily, the break in the rain continued until about 2 minutes after our ceremony ended. Because of this our pictures are pretty bad and there won't be much to our video as we all hid under tents. I'm trying to be positive about it but it does make me pretty sad. Sorry for the rant, but I will say if the sun would have been shining it would have been HOT because of the humidity! And we had temps in the low to mid 70s. If you want an earlier ceremony I would go for 11:30ish to give you enough time in the morning. I couldn't sleep well either but you don't want to get up so early that you are exhausted by early evening.
  21. We had a 1 p.m. ceremony and it took most of the morning to get showered, (woke up at 6:30 a.m.), hair/makeup, dressed, organized, taxi over to our wedding location, etc. I think we could have been ready by noon but that would have rushed us a lot more. A morning wedding sounds beautiful but you don't want to be too rushed either.
  22. The emotions of your wedding/trip coming up will also slow AF. Mine came late two months leading up to our wedding cruise and I didn't get it until the day after we got home! Yipeeeeee!!!
