  1. We have actually booked a photographer for our 2010 wedding. Although we have not booked a resort yet, but that's another thread. We are flying her from TN to St Kitts and paying for her airfare. She gave us an unbelievable deal on 8 hours of photography, 50 paged album, 9 months of online hosting and so much more.

If my FI goes along with me, we end up with stuff we never buy, stuff that will never be eaten at our house or stuff that will end up going bad because we'll forget about it. As much as I dislike grocery shopping, I prefer going alone. Living in the city, I walk to the grocery store and take a cab home or call him to drive around not even two blocks to come get me with all my bags. Am I the only one that grocery shops at three or more different stores? I get some things at Trader Joe's. Others at Shaw's. Seafood in Chinatown. All paper and cleaning supplies at BJ's. My FI swears I'm the only one who does that.
  4. My FI suggested I take lessons. In fact, he came home with some business cards for local dance instruction schools. He brought it up, while laughing at me as he was trying to teach me some moves. I thought I was doing well for once. Then come to find out, after he stops laughing, that I really, really suck and there is no hope for me, according to him. Saddest part is that I'm puertorican and I don't know how to dance at all!
  5. File a complaint through Better Business Bureau.
  6. I have to be at work at 7am. It's almost 1am and I can't sleep. Good thing, I am leaving my office early tomorrow.
  7. My FI is having chinese food. I have absolutely no appetite- I'm not having dinner.
  8. Oh, Ryan International Airlines! They often cancel flights because: 1. They have an extremely small fleet consisting of 4 Boeing 757-200s, 1 MD-88, 1 Boeing 727-200, and 3 Boeing 737s. Their primary cash cow is the US goverment: military charter flights to be exact. So, if there is a contract out there for a military charter flight and they are awarded the flight, they will cancel their scheduled tour operations with FunJet, Apple Vacations, TNT Vacations, Crystal Travel and/or GVW Vacations. 2. Out of their nine passenger aircraft fleet, one is leased to a Bolivian airline; AeroSur (Bienvenidos al sitio de AeroSur - Bolivia). They operate flights from Miami to Bolivia, Bolivia to Brazil, Brazil to Bolivia and Bolivia to Miami. I think they recently added flights to/from Washington D.C. thru Miami to Bolivia. When the AeroSur plane is not in operation it is used for military charters, Sports Ad-Hocs, and/or vacation tour operations. Additionally, two other Boeing-757 that they own, are leased to Ghana's national airline; Ghana International Airlines. They fly those aircrafts from Accra, Ghanna to London, England and back three days a week. These planes too, are used as needed when not in operation by Ghana International Airlines. Their planes are in the air with limited down time!!! Scary, huh? None of their planes are new or where new to them at any point. They were acquired from North American Airlines, Spirit Airlines or leased; once those airlines felt the need to remove them from their fleet as a result of "excessive mileage". Essentially, that limited aircrafts that are "free" fly around the world whether doing military charters, Sports Ad-Hocs, and/or vacation charters. During the winter months their fleet "increases" as they lease aircrafts from Spain, Ireland and England from airlines that do not operate during certain aircraft during the winter months. This is done to insure that their contracts with tour operators are on schedule, not cancelled, during the busy vacation season. The aircrafts flown out of DFW, Boeing 737's, are also leased year round. This is the only location that is open year round as well. Weirdly enough, Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders fly Ryan International; through FunJet; yearly for their photo shoot in Cabo. Ryan also flies out of Atlantic City, Boston (seasonally), Chicago, Rockford, IL, St. Louis, somewhere in WI, and Milwaukee. So as a result, FunJet isn't quite so fun for customers most times! Yet FunJet extends their contract year after year...

But...I'm a teacher and he will always make more...I've gotten used to the fact that I will never make lots of $$$. I'm happy with my choices though because I work with children with autism and feel like I'm changing the world...one child at a time! I'm a BCBA, LICSW. I have heard of NECC. Your job must be very rewarding. What age group do you teach?
  10. We don't intend on having any children for another 5 years, at least. However we have names picked out for our future children. We plan on adopting and conceiving a total of five children! We don't have any boys names picked out though. We've combined parts of his name and my name to come up with one name which is unique-Menaelle.
  11. My FI makes more than I do. He works for Au Bon Pain in the corporate office as an executive. He gets profit sharing and GREAT bonuses every quarter. He has an MBA. I am a behavioral analyst working for a large hospital. I have a master's in clinical psychology.
  12. My e-ring... FI picked it out all by himself! I love it and have gotten tons of compliments! I'll post a picture of it on my finger once I upload it from my phone camera.

  14. Everything looks so professionally made. It doesn't even look DIY. Looks amazing! I love your hair flower. Looks really nice in the picture in your siggy.

My mom was born in St. Kitts and I have family that lives there. Since my father is no longer living, I thought my mom would be thrilled to know that we will wed where she is from. We haven't thought of a way of telling her yet. I have been talking to her about St. Kitts non stop pretty much since we decided we'd wed there. She hasn't asked why I have an abudant interest in St Kitts all of a sudden. I have visited a few dozen times but my FH has not. My uncle is a priest in St Kitts. I'm hoping he will marry us.

Next year, my FI and I, will travel to Gabon and The Democratic Rep. of Congo in Africa.
