I went to have my second fitting yesterday... She had fixed the boob area to make it tighter so I wouldn't need a bra. I was a little hesitant to believe her, but it worked! It looked nice, held 'em in, and was very comfortable.

I went for the french bustle. I'll post pics once I get my dress back next week. There was just so much detail on the back of my dress that I didn't want to lose, and this worked best. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow of what they did. They kind of took my hair from each side of my head, tied it in a knot in the back, with the curls coming down from the knot, and then the rest was left down, with curls. She put some kind of wax stuff in my hair first, then tons of product after the curling also. I think I'm just meant to have a straight hair do. I called today, and they are going to re-do my trial next week. Hopefully they help me figure things out! I checked on project wedding- lots of cool styles. But- when you click "Straight Hair" all the pics are curly!

I have been having trouble with the also. I normally wear a 38 D bra. my dress is a Corset back, but the chest area is way to big on me . Strapless bras seem to do nothing. It's like my chest is too heavy, and they don't hold them up or in anyways! I'm thinking of just telling her to do what she can to make the top smaller and wear nothing under... Bustier's are so uncomfortable, and I have found that there is not enough support on top, anyways for bigger chests.

I'm just a nervous nelly! Wedding is on the 27th of this month, and each day, I freak out about something new. It's just difficult for me not being able to see what it's going to look like in real life before hand. I though having a beach wedding with an outdoor reception would be easier and cheaper, but I was wrong on both!

Has anyone ever been to or had an outdoor reception under a tent? I'm wondering if I need to go all out and spend the extra money to get the tent liner, pole covers..... or if it would look ok without. We are having our reception on the grounds of a little hotel that all of our guests are staying at. ( we have all the rooms.) It is on the Indian River Lagoon, in Fl. The tent will be a 20x30, with the band and dance floor , and a few tables scattered for sitting. Outside the tent will be our tiki bar, with some high top tables. Tiki torches will define the walk ways from the dining patio to the tent and bar area. So far, with the tent, we have reserved the decor lighting, which is like white Christmas lights that surround the perimeter. We also have tons of white paper lanters to put somewhere. Does anyone have any suggestions or input re: lighting, or how to make the tent pretty? I'm just not sure if it will look ok with just the decor lights and the plain tent. Any input would be helpful! Yup, they tried the curling iron after the rollers for the parts that didn't curl. Didn't work. My hair sucks!

I need help with my hair! I went for my trial last week, sat in curlers under the heat thing forever, and an hour later, all my curls were straight. I'm going next week for them to try again, by getting my hair wet, then rolling it, and sitting longer under the heat thing, but I am thinking that my hair still won't hold it. So, I'm looking for ideas with no curls, just in case! I haven't found any good "straight" hair do's that I am in love with yet. I was looking for something half up/half down, something flowy, since it's a beach wedding.. Any ideas? Thanks!

Ours is " Alone," by Heart. Only our band will be playing it, with a male singer. FI has been in charge of the music, for the most part. He loves this song.

We are having a more casual, relaxed reception outdoors under a tent. I plan on just letting the band, (who also dj's and mc's) just -tell us what and when! It will be something like this: 4pm Ceremony 430-530 pictures 530-7 cocktail hour (steel drummer with an mc) 7pm dinner, toasts, (probably cut cake at beginning of dinner, since the sun sets at about 730 here, and I want it to be light out for pictures) 8pm- (Band starts) -First Dance -Bridal Party Dance - open dancing -mother/groom, father, bride dance open dancing -anniversary dance (all married couples, called off by # of years they were married, last ones dancing, have been married the longest) -open dancing -garter/bouquet -more dancing I'm not even going to try to put times in, because I know we won't stay on track. I think one of my many favorites is the one where you are walking down the aisle, from the guests view point, seeing all of their backs, and the front of you and your husband. They are all beautiful!
