I ordered my dress today...Here she is!! I took a risk by ordering it without actually seeing it. No bridal salon had a sample in my area, but I just love the dress. I did try on similar dresses so I should be ok.

No we're not doing one either. Hate to sound bitchy about it, but I just don't feel like accomadating people just because they aren't coming. The purpose in having a DW was to save money. The important people will be in Mexico and that's all that matters to us.

The only deposit I paid was for my room block thru Tammy. Yesica never mentioned anything about a deposit, for the packages or a la carte. Is this something to worry about?

Maybe these are not the best people to be your bridesmaids...and that's OK. They are in a place where they are thinking of themselves and what they don't have. I don't think that makes them bad people, I just think that makes them unable to be what you need right now. Let them be guests. They will be happier that way and as you stand beside the your new husband at the altar, you will be surrounded by his love....and not their sadness/ anger about not having found a love...yet. Weddings are hard on our single girlfriends....we have to remember that. I am having an all-child wedding party of little people who think I am the best aunt in the whole world! So much so, that my 10 year old nephew asked if he could give me away I cannot ask for more love than that. Well said!!!!

These prices are pretty good, it's just my MOH and I getting make-up so this works for my budget....thanks!

We were only there two nights so we didn't get a chance to eat at all the restaurants. We ate at the Seaside Grill which was yummy, and El Patio for breakfast. I'm not a breakfast person so the yogurt, fruit, and toast or bagels worked for me. They had alot to choose from eggs, mexican eggs, sausage, refried beans, oatmeal, cereal, pastries, potatoes, waffles, pancakes a little bit of everything! I liked the drinks we were buzzed the whole time we were there!! We asked for extra shots of Tequila and they gave it to us with no problem, and tipping always helps! They were very appreciative! Only entertainment we saw was on the beach when the guys were throwing the football thru the board (don't know what it's called). And they had cheerleaders out there, everyone seem to be having a great time!! I really enjoyed being able to watch the superbowl on the beach, that was a big plus with me!!! I'm sure there was more entertainment but we weren't there long enough!! Hope this helps!

Oh ok, I think we are going to get the 6 hour value package. And if we decide on a Dreams package use those pics for the welcome dinner.

I would say about 2 hours before to be safe. Our flight was at 1:30pm and the shuttle picked us up at 10am, which was early to me. But I guess they rather have you there early. We went thru Customs and checking in superfast so we were waiting in the airport a good 2 hours.

I'm getting married October and the flights from D.C. are very high right now. The cheapest I have seen so far is $570. I have seen package deals on Expedia for my weekend for about $950 total. I agree Melissa, we just got back from our site visit and an all-inclusive is the way to go! Dreams exceeded my expectations plus more, it is a very luxurious place!
