I'm definitely feeling the effects of the economy on our wedding. A lot of people can't afford it, flights are very expensive, etc. It's cliche but the people who want to be there are really going to try to go. And it's kind of a blessing in disguise because I always wanted a small wedding. You really have to think of the positives and, like Erica said, the whole point of the wedding is to get married to the one you love.

I have been searching for wedding invitations online and I'm exhausted! I can't seem to find any that I love. I want the invites to be fun and not too formal. But my colors are violet and chartreuse green which are difficult to find. Any ideas on where you got your invitations? Any help is much appreciated!

I need help from all you lovely ladies out there. I'm getting married next March and I want to book hair and make-up for my wedding day. I'm debating between Franc Gole and Sebastian. I'm not a bridezilla but I'm really picky about having perfect hair and make-up. (I've had too many updo's gone wrong when I was a bridesmaid.) Can someone give me some insight into which is better? I know Franc Gole is a little more expensive and I'm willing to spend more, I just want to know they do a great job. Thanks for any help you can provide!

Hi Kisa, My boyfriend and I really want to get married at Hacienda San Angel. We're going to PV tomorrow for our scouting trip and we're staying at the Hacienda. We're meeting with the owner to discuss wedding details so I'll fill you in on everything when I get back. Mackenzie

I'm going to PV in a few weeks for my first scouting trip. I wanted to check out a local market to see if I can find anything to put in my OOT bags. I'm thinking of mesh shopping bags, talavera shot glasses, hand-painted maracas, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good marketplace that has textiles and ceramics? Thanks!!

This place is awesome! Tons of samples of designer gowns that are super inexpensive. I was just in there and saw tons of Vera Wangs and Monique Lhuilliers for less than $2000. I'm planning on getting my dress there!
