I am definitely curious for a review of a beach reception. Somebody do it up right at the beach and then tell us all about it!

I am pretty sure that it's 180 for a set up for the ceremony only and you you dont pay anything else (for the ceremony) if you have an outside DJ (Carlos), because his price includes the speakers etc. This is what I am doing also.

I am seriously considering doing a beach reception (scary!). but if I do - I will be doing the lounge set up and the tables lit from beneath. I figure it could either be windy and sandy...or completely amazing!

AHHH! Cancun Bride you scared me! I had to run and get my calendar -June 14th is a sunday. they said it was the last weekend they had left....I sent back the Q&A - so i just hope the day is actually MINE. If they give my day away again, I'm changing my display name to "crazy bride"

i talked to claudia today (I called her too ....unfortunately i was about to have a nervous breakdown myself. GAby said she had reserved May 17th for me about a week ago, and today i get an email in response to one of my many questions saying "that day was booked by another coordinator). Turns out the only possible weekend day in ALL of April, May, June is 6/14. i begged her to reserve it and send me ANY kind of confirmation. she said she would right away and then never did. If I dont hear from her I guess it wont be dreams for me I just want a confirmed date and ill relax for the rest of the year!!!

thanks! well for now.....the only weekend date she had in all of april, may, june was june 14th. So I "reserved" the date (hopefully!) I told her that I was very nervous about this since my last reservation didnt pan out- she said she would email me something in writing today. so far nothing, so lets see what happens I guess. I am looking into the RIU now as a backup...just to be safe.
