  1. I think your hair looks beautiful as is and honestly I wouldn't make a huge change to your hair before your wedding, just incase you dislike it. You are going to look beautiful on your wedding day regardless of what you do with your hair. If you want to make the change I would do it after the wedding so you can still have your fun with changing colors and not worry if you don't like the way it turns out that you have time to fix it and not stress. Hope this helps!
  2. Your dress is beautiful!!! I love the beaded overlay too, just gorgeous! Congrats on finding THE ONE! I am slightly jealous that you already have your dress in your hands...I can't wait until mine arrives.
  3. #6 is just stunning. You have such an amazing figure and it shows it off but in such a classy elegant way. I Love it!
  4. I love these! I was thinking of doing something like this....do you have directions on how you made these? Thanks!
  5. I ordered the linens from weddinglinensdirect.com They are having as sale right now and they are quick on shipping. They are out of Texas.
  6. Hi Amy, the dress is by Lapis. But I agree they all fit a little differently...my mom and I literally went to every Marshalls and TJ Maxx in San Diego county to find them, try them on and chose the ones that fit the best. I agree one can definitely fit better than the next. I think I seriously tried over 30 of the dresses on just to get the ones that were the slimmest fit. I knew my bridesmaids would appreciate that because I want them to feel beautiful too.
  7. Hi Ladies! I decided to order linens online and take them with me to decorate the tables at my reception since the Hilton wanted WAY too much to rent any of their colored linens. They will provide me with white linens and chair covers and a turquoise napkin....I created this look using table runners and a centerpiece inspired by a few different ones I have seen. I am debating on this centerpiece still....let me know what you think! Oh and my tables will be round but I did this on my parent's rectangular table so it will look a little different.
  8. Hi Ladies, So I was at Marshalls with my mom a few weeks back while looking for things for my engagement party and we found these amazing dresses! They are one size fits all and came in my wedding colors (among other colors). I am having 6 bridesmaids and one junior bridesmaid so I chose three colors - blue, teal and lime green and each girl will be wearing a different color based on their placement in the party. I was so excited that I scored these insanely cute dresses (I kept a lime green one for myself!) for only $19.99!!! I decided to gift them to my bridesmaids - they have all raved about them! Let me know what you think!!!

  10. You are just stunning! Juan did an amazing job!!! So pretty!!! Congrats!
  11. I second the TANTOWELS! I actually just got another shipment of them today. They are amazing and do not streak and t does not turn you orange and you don't have to wait to get dressed like the other tanning products. They are amazing! My mom and sister are beauty product queens and i seriously think they have tried every self tanner out there and TANTOWELS are a sure winner!
  12. Hi! I just got back from Cabo and was searching for a place for our rehearsal dinner too. Since we are inviting all of our guests not just the bridal party we wanted a place that had a great ambiance as well as easy on our pocketbook. Since my family is Italian we decided to go with the italian restaurant on the Marina - Amarone. The looks of the restaurant is gorgeous and with the setting on the marina it is beautiful. The prices are also very reasonable. - $12-16 for most pasta dishes. We are offering an antipasto for the appetizer and a choice of pasta (we are choosing about 5 options). Also, you can bring your own wine with a corkage fee of $200.00pesos which seems worth it if you can got to Costco and get a decent bottle of wine for $10-12 dollars will put each bottle of wine at ~$30-$35 instead of their cheapest bottle of $45. 13. Thank you for the review it is so helpful to hear what other brides have done. Your pictures are gorgeous btw! I am getting married June 2010 at the Hilton and can't wait. I am going there this week for a second site visit and to the menu tasting and to meet with Jennifer Hattton and Mazarate Florist. So excited!!!

We had several different appetizers for cocktail hour (mini pizzas, chicken quesadillas, chicken wontons, empanadas, mini meatballs, I'm forgetting a couple). The appetizers were beautifully served on little platters. For dinner I just asked for a mixed greens salad with balsamic vinagrette since I didn't care for the menu options, and the chef presented it in this amazing wonton bowl. Dinner was beef tenderlion with grilled baby veggies with a merlot reduction wine sauce and pureed potatoes - that wasn't an option either but I saw the merlot reduction sauce on another dish, maybe surf and turf and figured they could just make a tenderlion with the sauce. All the plates had little flowers decorating them too. I can't say enough about the plate presentation - everything was beautiful and tasted delicious. If you see a different combination or want to change something on the menu, just ask the Hilton if they can do it and to price it out for you - they're very accommodating - but you always have to ask. Hi Michelle, Thank you so much for your help. We chose a few menu options to try so I am very excited! Knowing that they can create what we want too if we want to change a few things is great to hear. The appetizers you chose sound wonderful. I was looking at the appetizers for the cocktail our but at $4-$6 a piece that seems really pricey to me. I am going to ask if we can do maybe just chips, salsa and guacamole for the cocktail hour to try and save a little there. What do you think? I will certainly have some mini burgers for you! One more day..who hoo!
  15. Great Review! I am excited because I am getting married at the Hilton too in 2010 and am going to Cabo to visit again on Saturday for a week. During this time we are going to do a menu tasting....can I ask you what menu options you chose? Thanks!
  16. I hope your wedding everything you wanted. I can't wait to read your review and see pics! I am a Hilton bride-to-be!
  17. I am doing Navy with touches of turquoise and lime green. I wanted to play up the colors of the hotel where the wedding is and it turned out to be a great idea and color pallette for me.
