  1. Very nice and the layout is awesome. Thanks again for all of the information.
  2. Thanks for all of the great information, I really appreciate it. I will keep all this in mind and be in touch if any other questions come up. I am glad to know that $800-$1000 (including air) is reasonable for both locations. Thanks again!
  3. Thanks for responding I will check out Melia Cabo Real.
  4. Congrats and welcome to the forum!
  5. Thanks for the info and wishes. I hope you have a great time in D.R.
  6. You can check out St. Francis Monastery it has a beautiful garden and lovely old columns around the monastery. A lot of wedding parties go up there to take pictures it's in NE DC.
  7. Hello, I'm planning a wedding in Mexico for February 2009. I have been reviewing all the great info on this site regarding locations, but I am now stuck between Cabo and Puerto Vallarta. My FH loves the gazebo at the Riu Jalisco in PV, but I really love some of the sites/resorts in Cabo. The other issue is expenses for our guests because we want to do an all inclusive. From my research it looks like PV may be a little cheaper for our guests. Any information you can offer on AI's in Cabo or PV would be great. Is it even realistic to think that we can get rates for about $800-$1000 per person for say 3 nights? I'm running out of time and need to make decision soon, I look forward to your feedback.

  9. Hey Ladies, I'm a February 7, 2009 bride. I'm hoping to loose about 20 pounds before then. I've done weight watchers in the past and hopefully I can maintain the "smaller portions mentality" to get me through the next 20 pounds. I was originally thinking we'd get married in Cabo, but my fiance actually has gone from loving Dreams in Cabo to the Riu Jalisco in PV. He fell in love with the gazebo and that is all he talks about. I really need to decide on a place and get moving because Februray is right around the corner. Any advice on where to start
  10. Thank you for the information. It is good to have a different perspective on things. It is a shame though because wedding planning is no joke, I admire all those who actually plan events for a living.
  11. Thanks for the warm welcome. Can you guys suggest a few other hotels to look at besides Dreams? I have seen a few like Royal Solaris, Presidente Intercontinental etc. I'm not sure though. I'm looking for something nice and romantic and some place that wouldn't cost my guests an arm and a leg! Thanks!
  12. Welcome. I'm in the same situation, I know I want it to be in Cabo, not sure about where. Good luck with everything.
  13. Congrats!! We share the same wedding date. It was our original anniversary date so we thought it would be great to get married on the same day. Hard to believe that was nine years ago (2/7/00). I hope you have a great time, I've heard great things about Turks & Caicos. Serena
