She is trying to figure out if there is a way she can start doing this for other girls as she loves to drive and loves Mx. I don't know how I would have gotten all my stuff down via plane as some of my bags were well over75 to 100 lbs.

I found the heart for my logo as clipart and then edited it for layers and colors to get it for how I wanted it. I found the heart for the FA kit on iStock and again manipulated it to my colors and added the first aid. I have both, PM me with your email address ifyou want and I can send. They are too big to post to this site (unless someone can tellme how to upload large word files).

I only needed 50 so I have 25 of each color if anyone needs them I will sell the rest once I am all done with everything and have time to post a FS thread of allt he extra stuff I have. I also have 50 extra of the card holder pouches. He delivered them to me in 2 days or less I think. It was very fast and he is super responsive. Great to work with! I ordered the key holder pouches from amazon for 11.99 for 100 of them (they didn't have smaller boxes unfortunately).

Invitations Question? Advise needed...
kerryjbrown replied to DarcyJAde's topic in Destination Weddings in Dominican Republic
Work is very tricky (we have this same issue with our parties 2x a year). I have always been told that if you have a unit or a team (like I manage 20 people), you either invite all or none. As this is a destination wedding, people understand that it is small and all the regular people you would invite are not invited (this is why we opted for one as we did not want a 350 person wedding versus 50 in Mx). We opted to not invite anyone from work except I made one exception which was a woman I have known for 5 years priror to her coming to our company (FI & I work together) and she and I walk in the 3-Day breast cancer walk together. She has not let anyone know that she is invited as she knows she is the only one. I would say just hte people in your unit and most likely those that you are not close with, would not attend. -
If they are close friends or family, etiquitte is to send the invite even though they have already told you they cannont attend. Everyone that got a STD shoudl get the invite. I hated doing this but just finished mine last night and there are about 10 that I know can't make it but due to etiquitte, we needed to send.

My Cabo Site Visit / New Years Eve Trip
kerryjbrown replied to Jess's topic in Destination Wedding in Cabo
Thanks for the post! I was looking for the flights everyone was talking about out of TJ and couldn't find it. I had never heard of this airline. Since we own property there, this is a HUGe help to me and will allow me to visit more often! Thanks so much! Hope the trip was Fab! -
Guest wearing their wedding dress
kerryjbrown replied to heather007's topic in Just venting or funnies
That is very strange. One why would she, and two everyone knows you are not supposed to where white to t awedding as it is reserved for the bride. Sounds like someone that might be a little jealous of your day and trying to be a focal point to take some focus off you. I am very sorry you have a friend that would do this to you. Remember it is your day and there are polite ways to ask her not to. -
Are you having a bridal shower?
kerryjbrown replied to Myda77's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
3 of my girlfriends are throwing us a co-ed joint shower with about 50-60 people. They are being very secretive and not telling us what the plan is but they have been meeting 2x a month for 3 months to organize it. Should be fun as I didn't want a traditional with silly games but a get together of friends. We are not registering so we have said no gifts, so it should be more like a party hopefully. -
Any grand lido negril brides???
kerryjbrown replied to kris's topic in Jamaica Accommodations & Site
I did not get married there but I did stay at the Grand Lido Negril and LOVED it. There were 3 weddings there the week I was there and loved the venue in the Gazebo or out on the boat. My best friend was married there also and she said it was perfect. I have not been to the RIU so I cannot compare for you. I will say at the Grand Lido they tood such great care of us, even just as regular guests. I was in love with their Lamb Chop appetizer and we would ask them to deliver them with a bottle of champagne to the 2nd hamock from the bar on the point at specific times in the middle of the night and they did no questions asked. -
Great review! Thanks for posting the pic link. It all looks beautiful

So I am trying to print all my DIY invitations today. I bought all the envelopments paper, pocket, and envelops yeseterday. I can't get my items printed at the inviation shop as they won't use my colors or my fonts and they wan'ted $980 to print/paper/assemble for me to sacrifice color & font. So...flying solo now. I have to print our return address on the back of the 5x7 envelop (which is actually 5.5x7.5 (to fit a 5.25x7.25 pocket) and the front self addresses on the 3.5x5 envelop which is actuall 3.625x5.125 (to fit a standard 3.5x5 rsvp card). Does anyone know how to print these or have the template to do so? I would really appreciate the help! The only good news in all of this is paper cost me $190 so I saved $600...YEAH (I think...hope I don't ruin them)!

Thanks, ~Susana I chose the Terry Velor towels as they had the closest to my colors (though originally I was goign to order the Cabana towels, but thought the text would get lost with them). Here is what they quoted me: 50 30 x 60 11.0 lbs per dz terry velour, cost $6.75 ea with the embroidery 50 32x64 Terry velour 16.0 lbs per dz , cost $8.50 ea with the embroidery I ordered the 30x60. I thought they were a little thin and small, I would most likely order the 32x64 if I were to do it all over again for the extra $75. I was a bit disappointed personally but I am super finicky about my towells and only use the XL bathmats and extra thick/fluffy. My mom and BF thought they were great and thinks people will be thrilled with them. If cost is an issues, these will work, if you can spend the extra $75 and go bigger/thicker, I would recommend it. They come in boxes of 24 so I got 2 cases and the cost shipping was about $53 to California. My contact there is: Litag Danan Cotton Fruit, Inc. P.O. Thank you all so much! I am very excited that I got to do a trial while I was down there. It was very last minute for the hair as my cousin is supposed to do it for the wedding but she is having a baby this week and our first trial didn't go so well. I was getting my makeup done and they offered to do a hair trial as well (last minute on 12/23...nice!). You are right, I didn't think about it lasting all day. It is dark for me as I don't wear much normally (usually warmer tones) and they did say since they would be doing my makeup around 1:30 (is this normal for a 5pm wedding?) before my hair they would do it a bit darker so it would last. SO I freaked out when mom and FI said it was too dark. I will show them the pics adn see what they think. Thank you all for the kind comments, I feel much better now! Now I just need to tell my cousin she doesn't have to do my hair....

Also, this may be a dumb question, but I also want to do labels for water bottles. Did the ones you buy already have a label on that you covered? Or were they empty- or did you have to remove the existing ones? Thanks!!! I did the first Aid kits. The template is too big to post due to the JPEG, but if you PM me your email address I will send it to you, same with the water bottle labels. I bought Kirkland water at Cabo Costco (don't know why they don't see mexican water there) so it was a bit more expensive (about $79.00 Pesos). Then my mom and I removed all the labels (didn't take long as we were watching the sunset and drinking margaritas). We then wrapped the new labels on them. This took a little longer as I wanted them to be perfectly straight when they matched up in the back. OVerall, I would say it took the 2 of us about 2 hours to do 200. The small bottles were harder, I would use a more narrow label than the 2 inch one I made orginally for big bottles. I switched to small bottles for the cocktail reception and welcome party as we just had our Xmas party and I am so tired of throwing away 1/2 bottles every year so this year I did small bottles and found no wasted ones.

Thanks so much everyone! It was a lot of work but didn't feel like it as it was a little here and alittle there. The towels were from Beach Towels wholesale manufacturer of custom embroidered monogrammed bath towel for corporate events. I ordered the velour terry towells. They are good for the price at 6.75 each for 48. I personally prefer thicker, bigger towels, but for this purpose they are fine. I was a little disappointed, but when I showed them to my mom and our friends there, they said they would be happy to recieve them. I am glad I did towels as it completes the image of the beach bag. I also forgot to post the pic of our pens from Personalized Ink Pens, Cheap Promotional Pens, Business Pens, Promotional Pens Cheap, Desk Pens, Custom Pen, Custom Pens, Imprinted Pens, Pens with Logos, Cheap Personalized Pens, Ballpoint Pens by PensXpress which i loved!
