Tara, who are you using here in CA?

We are doing #4 based on photos a friend had sent us from someone she had flown in. Most Photographers that do DW have a base rate/package for DW's. We have to pay this plus room/air. Our's is definitely worth it as I have not seen a portfolio yet like theirs for those based in our location. Not to mention she is only an hour form us so I can go meet with them and view their past albums and portfolios/get to know them in person versus email.

Does anyone know where else I can buy a blue/green toned bamboo or palm fan for the ceremony. Blissweddingsmarket.com is sold out of the colors I am looking for. We just picked our colors today and I had these flagged for 2 weeks, by the time I went to order...they only have brown or pink...so bummed. THanks in advance! K

Whew....who knew what a task that would be. I ended up going in a different direction, but I really like the simplicity and we had time constraints. I was also able to order the custom stamps through costco.com with our picture on them. I am adding a sliver "Save the Date" seal to the back of the envelop. Yeah! One task done, now I just need to find someone with nice writing to address them when they come in. I don't know how to do pics so here is the website: eInvite - Browser Detection

Does anyone have a good company that they used to do the Boarding Pass STD's with pockets? We just set our wedding date and we are 9 mos away so I do not have time to make them myself as I need to get them out within the next week or two? THanks in advance!

I agree, I can't get things hot enough and don't love the flavor of Tabasco or tapatio. When in St. Lucia I was introduced to this West Indies hot Sauce that is made from Scotch Bonnet peppers which have a better flavor and are almost as hot as an habanero. They make the sauce with mustard (you would never know) but it has a nice slow burn. I brought back 3 bottles and thank goodness i found it on amazon with one of their top brands "Barons" as we cannot buy it in Ca. Amazon.com: Baron West Indian Hot Sauce - 14oz: Gourmet Food

WOW! I live in OC so this is not shocking, however, highly embarrassing to the rest of us. I waited almost 5 years for my engagement and most people here didn't even ask me about the proposal or plans,first comment was "what's the ring look like?" My response was to all of them "who cares, I waited 5 years for him not the ring." Could have come from a gum ball machine for all I cared at that point as I was so happy he was making the move to make us a family. Unfortunately the experience taught me that today's society has some serious priority issues!

To be honest, at 2, you do not need to spend $100. I have Ella (my FI daughter who I have been with since birth) and for her 2nd BDay we got so many gifts (seems you do for 1 and 2 and then they stop unless family or super close friends) that she couldn't even play with them all. She loved/loves (still at 3 1/2) anything "Little People." What I would highly recommend that someone did for us and now I do for others is personalized books. You can order a book for about $15 that has the child's name in it all the way through, as it is a story about them and their friends or family that you put in it, with a personalized dedication. At 2, they are easily distracted and their name keeps them interested, but it is something they will keep with them for years (almost 2 years later she asks to read it at least 1x per week).
