  1. Does anyone know a wholesale linen company (especially one in Southern Ca so I don't have to order online)? I have a tax ID # which I can use to order and am trying to compare buying versus rental fees? Also hoping I can obtain more options for table ideas. I don't like ordering my linens from down there without being able to touch/feel and see the actual colors. Thank you
  2. There is a lot of good info/ideas here. Welcome and Happy Planning!

I wnat to do a /2 marathon next.
  6. I have heard of it, but not sure where. You might want to try Pancho's as they claim to have the largest selection of T. in the world (over 300 kinds). THey do tastings. We are going a Mx. wine tasting with a Taco Stand and appetizers...trying to keep it local fare...
  7. WOW! Alyssa, this all looks amazing! You have done a wonderful job. You look so organized, you and your guests are going to have an amazing wedding! Congratulations!
  8. I have seen several comments in regards to her pricing, but has anyone priced anything out with her lately? The last quote I see on here was in 2006. Has anyone used her lately that I can see pics? She is actually in CA for the next 2 weeks and I am goign to meet with her as this is who I was planning on using, but I am curious how much more expensive is she (5% or 50%....) to see if she is worth it. Thanks
  9. I did check the Groom/GM attire but didn't see any dad's on there. I am not having attendants at this point otherwise I would have them match. Danielle, where did you find the linen shirt?
  10. Can you please post or give suggestions (I searched but didn't find this anywhere) as to what your father is wearing to walk you down the aisle. My stepmom is asking what to get him and I have no idea. My FI is going to most likely wear a Grey/platinum colored suit. My dress has platinum embroidery and crystal beading. Thanks so much!
  11. I use it. I am training for the 3-Day breast cancer walk and I use this in combination iwth the new Garmin GPS watch. I love it as it talks to me through the head set as I hit each 5 mile marker. LOVE IT!!!!
  12. I can't remember who posted this one, but I got it from here and it works well for me. Thanks to whoever posted it originally! Wedding To Do List by date.xls
  13. So, I got a phone call on Saturday saying this dress has been discontinued....I am so bummed. On the hunt again....
  14. My place says Jennifer Hatton and Sweet Dreams are the two best in Cabo. YOu may want to try Jennifer. There is a lot of info on these in the Cabo Vendor forum
  15. My French Bulldog has been through 10 foods! Turns out, since they are highly sensitive, she is allergic to animal protein. She has to have a completely deconstructed protein that her body does not recognize as an animal protein. My life has been so much better since we figured this out. She is now on Prescription Diet Z/D mixed wet and dry food.

Hope your toe feels better soon! I would say ice it and stay off of it as much as possible. Thank you for your support in my journey! 12 years is amazing! I am doing the walk in SF next month. I am adding all those that have passed and survived to my wings (my team is the Boo-Bees) to walk in their honor and their strength will get me through the walk. If you would like me to add your mom to my journey, I would be proud to wear her name, just PM me.

  18. Funny you bring this up...I had this dilema today. Not getting married until 4/4 09 but wanted to start buying the little things as FI does not think we need to do OOT bags (thinks they are a waste of $). So, long story short...first trip to Target and I had to make 2 decisions: 1. am I doing OOT bags even though FI says no and 2. if I am, how many do I need and should I start now. I have sent out 71 invites. Thanks to The knot, I know that means 41 invitations due to couples and singles. I am expecting about 50% of that so I assumed 36 people. I played it safe with 15 couples and 6 singles so I bought 21 of all the small items. I figure this way, if I am short...I can find one or two items to make up or if I am over, it will only be by one or two and I can always use Aleve & shout.... Not sure if this helps, but look at your guest invite, the # booked, the # promised, and the # for sure not attending and get a close base off that. Not all of them (if you are short) have to be 100% the same. I know my Gma does not need the aleve or tylenol so if I miss that I can throw something else in last minute.

Good Point! I thought about this as well. My Gma is a seamstress so I figured if it gets here and isn't easy to do,I will ship to her to fix it. Hoping it will work as I do want a little color.
  24. A Coarly Orange or hot pink would be pretty and there are a lot of flowers you could get with those!
  25. Very excited! I decided to go with a Wooden Soldier dress (as I order all her holiday wear and jackets from here anyway). I sent links to the FI and my mom with dresses to chose from and we all picked the same dress. I am going to remove the sash, add a little wider one with the wedding colors and put the sash back on over it (to keep the beading/crystals, but add some color). So, here is the dress, minus the tiara/veil! What do you think? WHITE SATIN & ORGANZA SLEEVELESS WAISTED DRESS from WoodenSoldier.com
