Do they serve champagne at the bars upon request, and is that free? We had the free package and yes we had a champagne toast and the cake. The cake was amazing actually! It was enough for way more than 10 people
  3. we have an Amex Starwood card. We love to travel and with the Starwoods card you can stay free at hotels-no black out dates at all. We went to Hawaii for free pretty much and stayed at really nice hotels (Sheraton, W, Westins)

Several of my guests have emailed me recently to tell me to beware. Anyone else concerned? I havent been on here for a little while but I wanted to respond to this because we had very a similiar situation last year (before the swine). The violence is near the US boarder which is like 1500+ miles away-it is like saying I wont go to Philadelphia because there are gangs in LA. We went to Mexico 2x last year and unless you go off by yourself or go into a shady area you are totally fine. My brother in law actually went to one of the cities near the Texas border last year and said it was such a pretty city and it was really sad all the media hype about it.

My husband looked at me like I was insane. I laughed and wore it around the house for about an hour

Our driver from Dreamsday was great (Marc Anthony) so it made it fly by too. We decided to have the ceremony in the chapel. I've been searching and searching for photos of wedding ceremonies in the chapel with no success. Can past brides please PM me with photos for inspiration? (pretty please?) We haven't quite decided on reception dinner yet - we are thinking the wine cellar (indoors) and we are only expecting around 20-25 ppl but I don't know where and how we could have our first dance! Any suggestions? Check out Dreams425-she got married in the chapel and loved it.
  8. I used an outside photographer and I actually had to buy them passes. I used Claudia Rodriguez's team and they charged me for them.

Both pools are lit with changing color lights which are pretty... so that will help the ambiance for you. When I was there in April/May I never saw any children in the pool that late. Most receptions dont start until 5:30-6 and there were no kids in the pool that late. My ceremony was at 4 and at around 5:30 we jumpe into the pool and no one was there.

They didnt ask me but better safe than sorry.
  12. You are going to have a problem finding someone down there. The problem is that most Rabbis want to make sure the place is kosher etc. Your best bet would be to bring someone down with you or contact Cantor Debbie on here-she has done weddings down there. Good luck-we decided not to bother and just get married by our Rabbi before we left.

What I am trying to ask you ladies is, do you keep them on all the time? Sleep in them? Shower in them? Take them off for cooking/cleaning? Just wondering what others do about it. Thanks for your thoughts... I take mine off when I am preparing dinner and when I put lotion on and when I go to the beach. Other than that, I never take them off.
