  1. Congrats on choosing Le Blanc. It was my first choice but didn't work out since my 6 month old nephew is going to be coming to our wedding. We are honeymooning there and I'll make sure to post a review/pics in this thread when were back. Good luck planning!
  2. WOW! Everything looks amzing. How did you end up getting everything down to Sensatori for your OOT bags? Did you just bring an extra suit case?
  3. YAY! Thanks for your review. I'm glad you had a good time. We'd love to see pics if you have any yet!

It would be helpful to hear from others who have had, or are planning to have, a cocktail party (before their wedding reception) -- and hear how much food you are planning. Thanks! Hi there - Based on my experience planning so far, you have to pay per person. They want to know how many people are at everything. When you're closer to your date (see note below) they will send you a planning spreadsheet and one page is all about your guests. So I don't think you can get away with ordering just a bulk amount, I'm almost positive paying by the person is the only way they will allow it. That's a lot of weddings to manage!
  6. Hey! I'm such a dork. I forgot to put pricing on my original post about the mood cup order. A few people have PM'd me. Here is the cost breakdown for anyone else that is interested: They are $0.79 each + a $40 set up + tax and shipping. I think they will come out to about a $1 per cup. I'm planning on splitting up the $40 set up fee between all of the girls that order.
  7. I'm also searching for things to put on mine too. Thanks for starting this!
  8. Hi Girls, I know this post doesn't really belong here, but I feel like I know you all best and wanted to see if anyone wanted to go in on the "mood" color stadium cups for OOT bags with me? The minimum order is 250, I need 100, so I'm looking for any additional takers to meet the minimum. I need mine pretty soon and would like to order by the end of next week. Here is a link to the cups: Custom Color Changing Mood Stadium Cups Here is a link to some other Riviera Maya brides that used the same vendor: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t27620 I'm not too picky on artwork, so I'm all ears on suggestions. I am not very good with art stuff so if someone wants to take the lead on that, I would LOVE it. I would like the art to say "Riviera Maya 2009" but other than that, I'm open to suggestions. I can manage the purchasing, shipping, etc. Let me know if there are any AZUL Sensatori takers! I'm going to post this in the right place and open it up middle of next week if there's not enough of us to meet the minimum. thanks!

I will post as soon as I receive. She said the resort wants to use the plaza deck for the guests...maybe put a cabana, have live music, etc. I guess at first the resort was not going to build a new one, but after all the WC's in Florida complained that they could lose a lot of wedding business, they decided to make another one. I hope this relieves some of the stress for all of you, I know it did me! Thanks for your help Trayce! Is this where you're booked for your reception?

So I figured they can all duke it out for the sizes they want.
  11. That would probably work. I think I'm going to do regular table numbers but spell them out in Spanish so it has that Mexican flair...just an idea for you.
  12. Hey Girls, I found really cute and pretty good quality flip flops at Michael's today for $1! They come in pink, brown, yellow, white, black and aqua. They also have a ton of sizes - xs, s, m, and l. I bought 30 pairs to have at my reception for the ladies who want to dance the night away in comfort. Now I just have to figure out how to get all of this stuff down to Mexico!

  14. Hey Pink and Orange brides! I'm obsessed with Pink and Orange. I'm glad there's more of you out there!
  15. People will really want to get you gifts. It's so much easier and more fun for people to get things they know you need and want. I may check around on Wedding Planning - Wedding Dresses - Wedding Gifts - Wedding Website for some registering advice, but I think you should tell him that it's almost rude not to register and see if that will work. It will be way better than just getting random things that don't match because that's what will happen if you don't register!
  16. Oh! I am also doing a Farewell Fiesta on Saturday evening since we're getting married on a Friday. Here is my dress for that...although the one I got is short, just above the knee and it's in off white. THREAD - STELLA-FULL LENGTH

It's super fun and flirty and reminds me of Mexico. I got it in black.

Hi Ladies, Jo'Zeen just emailed me the exact same thing. She won't allow me to book it for my wedding though because she's not for sure when it will be complete. For those girls going down soon (if it's not too much to ask) if you could find out where this new location is and bring back a pic or two, that would be great! I know you'll have plenty of things to do while you're down there for your own wedding and this is the least of your worries, but it would really help to know what this location looks like and where it is located within the resort. We can't wait to hear all about your weddings! Have so much fun!!!!

I know that everything will turn out great. From everyone I have heard that once you get there it is awesome. Don't stress! I agree with you, I don't want to stress too much about this because I'm sure it will all turn out, but I still do have a couple of questions for those who have gone for a site visit or have been married at Sensatori already about reception locations. My FMIL had a severe brain injury just 8 months ago so her walking is a bit unstable. I'm concerned about having our reception on the beach because I just don't think she'll be able to deal with the sand, especially all night. I feel like the only other choice for our group (70 people booked) is in a banquet room. Am I missing a location? I think that's it, right? I'm really hoping we can do the Plaza area.

Hope that helps!

Also -- how is everyone getting their placecards, favors, etc. down to the resort? Any advice from those already married at Sensatori?
  22. OOOOH. I'm also looking for wording/schedule. Any ideas would help! Thank you!
