  2. how fun!! your gift table was overflowing! looks like a good time!
  3. thanks again for the feedback! kevsgirl - it will be indoors! the pic you found is of their original "hall". he (the owner) has built two more since then, and we will be in the newest one. i have pics of it, but they aren't exciting as it is just construction. my favorite part is an outdoor (manmade) river right outside!! so fun! the pictures really don't do it justice. this guy has made such a fun venue with good prices. catandcleo - good point with the lantern...i'll have to rethink that!! haha i didn't really run through that scenario, but it's a possibility! thanks for the heads up! soontobemrse - the letters are metal, and in the picture, they are simply laying on my garage floor. i might prop them up on a table or hang them some way?? not sure yet... kacie3344 - good 'ole shiner! haha i need to get the fiance and my dad to drink up for empty beer bottles! i'm not much of a beer drinker, but i'm pretty sure they can handle it! haha kb22246 - we thought about bluebonnets, too!! but you're right - not in season and we could be shunned from texas if we picked too many. haha! thanks again girls! y'all are so sweet and helpful!

  5. good question! i'm also wondering if mariachis are worth it? we are thinking about having them post-dinner @ the bonfire??
  6. stunning!!! i LOVE LOVE the back of your dress!! you look amazing! :)
  7. ss_islamorada - the shoes are BCBGirls from Dillard*s. i got them on an extreme sale! i've had my eye on the black ones but was too cheap to buy them, but i found (and loved!) the silver on sale! *heather* - i did try really quickly, and it didn't seem to work. i'll have to try it again when i have more time to focus on it! i love that idea, too... mummergirl - i had the same frustration with the gold/silver, but i think the gold on the earrings is subtle enough to not clash with the shoes? : caporrone - thanks for the google suggestion! i'm going to do that right now! thanks again for the sweet compliments! i'm SO excited to wear everything!! it's official: i'm NOT wearing the necklace! haha you've convinced me!! :) :) thanks for the help!! :) :)
  8. those are cute! i've never seen those before! maybe try amazon.com??
  9. thank you thank you for all of the feedback! y'all are too sweet! i'm beginning to agree about the necklace...i'm just worried he'll be upset if i don't wear "his" pearls! lol maybe i can wear them the night before?? thoughts? dancingdolphin - it's a BCBG Max Azria dress! i'm in LOVE with everything BCBG (see the shoes...haha), so i knew i could find something by him! i just found it in the mall at the BCBG store! so great! thanks for all of the hair help! i'm going to get my highlights touched up tomorrow, so i'll talk to my hair lady some more! i love all of the input! y'all are so great!! thanks again girls!
  10. FLgator - she sent me this in an e-mail: "Still working on getting all of our new products up. You can give me an idea of what price you would like to pay for the "OTHERS" and I can send you some ideas within your price range! :-) This works out great since the site doesn't reflect quanity discounts and I always give discounts when several items are purchased. 1 Spa Wrap = $22 includes Monogram and ribbon 4 Spa Wraps = $20 8 Spa Wraps = $18" hope that helps! she is SO nice and helpful!
  11. ok girls, i need some advice! my colors for the wedding are navy blue and "sunflower" yellow (not to be specific or anything...haha), and i'm trying to envision our ceremony.... colors (bmaids' dress detail with sash) this picture is from the sheraton hacienda del mar website and is basically what made me want a DW.... soooo, we won't be that close to the water but oh well! i know we'll have white chair covers (required and provided), but i can't decide if i want white sashes or navy sashes on the chairs....white sashes are free but navy are approx. $4 per sash...the petals will be yellow rose petals instead of pink, and i don't want anything @ the "altar" (just me, scott, preacher, and 5 attendants on each side)....SOOOOO what do you think: navy sashes or no? i can't decide if it's worth the cash...? ((same dilemma for the reception)) let me know what you think.....other suggestions are welcome!

Got travel candles for OOT bags (on sale at Michaels for .22) Bought sand ceremony set (still need sand) Bought shout wipes for OOT bags (4/$1) Oh yeah, I also bought my shoes for the wedding! I'll try to find the pictures of the dresses and shoes. thanks! we just got our engagement pics back, so i'm playing around with them on photoshop and picnik.com! too much fun! way to go with progress!!! not to be stupid...is a travel candle a candle with a lid? can't wait to see pics!!
  18. i understand the logistics nightmare. i think a welcome letter along with a simple gift is plenty! we're doing OOT boxes (cheap gable boxes that are flat to pack) with minimal items along with a welcome note. don't stress! it'll work out, and your guests will be thrilled to be there with you to celebrate (OOT bag or no OOT bag)!

Thanks! congrats! my wedding coordinator (katie thompson from weddings in paradise -- Weddings in Paradise) recommended gilda badillo for photography. i looked at her website, loved her work, and booked her!
