I was just going to send Demarys an email. I'm wondering if I pick the arch if it can be done in my colors and if we can pick white chair covers instead of the off white in the pics. Does anyone know the answer to this?
Colleen pm me your email and I'll send you the pics of the canopy and arch. There's a pic of the arch on the first page of this thread as well. She told me the canopy is an extra $560 and the arch is an extra $250 the gazebo is included.
What location are you guys picking for the ceremony? She just sent me pics yesterday of the canopy, arch and gazebo options. I love the canopy but have a hard time seeing how it costs an extra $560!!
I say dance with your mom. I've seen it done several times and it's something that will be so special to both of you. I think that because your step father loves your mom he will be thrilled that you are acknowledging her and the special bond the two of you share.
Just wondering what details you guys have had to confirm with Damarys before arriving? So far she's only had me pick the type of ceremony and time and also the restaurant and dinner time. Is there anything else that you are booking ahead of time (flowers? cake?) or is this all chosen when we get there?
I would wait to send out your STD. Is their any reason you're sending them so early? You'll probably be able to get more info in the New Year when all the new brochures come out. If you can I would wait or send out what week you're hoping for and change it on the actual invites if you have to.
I'm getting legally married here (Ontario) a couple of weeks before we go. I've spoken to a few friends that have recently been married in Mexico and they all recomended doing it this way. We're doing the vow renewal package and as far as I've been told it's the same ceremony just not legal. I've been told nobody will know the difference. Hope this helps.
I'm trying to get my AHR invites done, I'm just not sure how to word them. We are doing an afternoon drop in at my parents house a few weeks after we get back for family and close friends. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!
I'm getting married here on Jan. 10/09. I've read a few reviews from some of their brides on other sites and all of them were very happy. Check out this photographers gallery he has done 2 weddings at the sunset Cancun Mayan Riviera Merida Mexico professional photographer wedding portrait family editorial model fashion glamour - Eduardo Machuca- powered by SmugMug it will let you see what the set up looks like. Demarys the wedding coordinator is slow at returning emails but she is sooo busy. I've had the best luck by calling her directly. She's been excellent to work with so far.
How did you guys go about booking your wedding date with the resort? I've sent off an email but haven't heard anything back. Any advice would be great. Thanks!!
Can anyone tell me how many weddings they hold per day. What are the charges to rent one of the restaurants? If you don't care about having the whole restaurant to yourself will they let you just make a group reservation at one of the a la cartes?
Does anyone know if they only do one wedding per day? Also if you don't care about a private reception will they let you make a group reservation in one of the a la cartes?
