  1. Hello, I thought I recalled reading somewhere in this thread that the Paradisus gives you a discount if you book your rooms directly through them Though Perla is saying that is not the case. Can anybody tell me if this is true?? Thanks
  2. Hello, So my next question is about photography. The packages the Paradisus offers for photography are very high for what you get. I am all for paying $ for the photographer but I want to get my $’s worth and it doesn’t seem like you do w/ the company they use. At least I don’t think so……… Does anybody have any photographers they could recommend? Thanks 

Search the net for AJUA weddings. I am definitely going to look into them. Thank You!!!!

I did email perla and she said that was okay but there apparently is abunch of paper work that needs to be filled out that the gov't requires. She was adamant about this. I will post the band info when I get it. I figure even if it's their rate plus the $300 outside vendor fee it may still be less.... Thank you so much that would be a tremendous help.
  5. Hello, I am a fellow Paradisus bride getting married May 15th 2009. I have just finished reading all 72 pages so I think I am all caught up I have a question about the rates for the mariachi/drum/trio etc. Perla gave me these rates today and they seem very high. Wondering if this is what you girls were quoted. I don't have my ppwk in front of me but when I was on a site visit this past Aug I don't recall them being that high. For the Steel Drum, Trio, Violinist & Saxophonist the price per every 45 minutes is $650USD + tax. The Mariachi is $1200USD + tax for 45 minutes of service. I know the Paradisus is more expensive which I have come to accept but do they change their prices on a regular basis depending on their mood
  6. Hello, Yes I would LOVE to see the site pictures. Thanks
  7. Hi Tricia, I am also looking for the exact same things in PDC. What hotels did you come across in your searches that allow for a "private" reception. Thanks
  8. hello, You look awesome and sounds like you had a wonderful wedding!!! I was wondering if you could tell me the available sites for a reception. Is it possible to have a private reception on a gazebo/terrace something along those lines. Thanks

We went to a wedding in the Dominican in April and the bride had a beautiful reception in a private gazebo............ Help
