  1. i suggest buying a decent sized tupperware or plastic container to put them in that fits into your suitcase so it does not get crushed
  2. wow! very informative.good for you for staying positive and polite through all that I personally would have gone bridezilla on their As*es. The pictures are great though, maybe a nice album for your grandma to keep could compensate for lack of video? Congratulations on the wedding!!!

  4. Holy Crap! who knew this existed? This is bad news for the wedding dress diet!
  5. HI!I love love love the shirts however I don't think they go super well with the pants especially since the top is woven and the pants are linen, fabrication is too different. just being honest sorry...I work for Banana Republic so thats why I say that but i honestly love both items just maybe not together. Try going to Banana and taking a look at the Dawson Chinos, more similar fabric to the shirt and it comes in 4 different colors and 3 different cuts straight, boot and relaxed fit Good Luck

  7. i just noticed that a lot of you mentioned late fees. WE are very lucky here in Vancouver because Blockbuster has no late fees. if you keep it past a month, they charge you for the cost of the movie and if you bring it back after a month, they cancel the charge for the movie and you just pay a $1.75 re-stocking fee. we haven't rented a lot lately cause we watch everything online but awake was really good with jessica alba very suspenseful. also for TV rent DEXTER or CARNIVALE both very good and easy to get hooked on! Let me know if u end up renting either one.
  8. what an awesome thread! I love Narciso Rodriguez, it is my "special"fragrance but I think i will buy something different for memory association purposes. I also love Hanae Mori pink butterfly or MAC pure turquoise not6 sure yet though hmmm something else to add to my constantly growing list!

  10. not yet, just planning on buying them when we get there. i remember reading on here that one of the brides actually bought it at the resort gift shop (bahia principe)
  11. beautiful. P.S. I love that your Dad said "that's THE one!" so sweet!
  12. Hello Ladies! First of all, thank you to everyone, you have all been so great with ideas and opinions, it really helps. although because of all the DIY ideas the budget has been blown out of the water and i now don't have much time to do anything LOL Ok so here is the problem...where do I start?... VERY LONG STORY FI and I got engaged 9 1/2 years ago! we were going to get married and I bought this gorgeous dress a size 12 which I love and then we decided to postpone it since we couldnt afford to pay for it ourselves and our parents were not able to pitch in. Fast forward to NOW well, i have put on some weight currently a size 20 so the dress doesnt fit. BUT I am starting the Bernstein Diet in October after we come back from vegas. My MOH and Best Man are on the program, they have been on it for 17 weeks and He has lost 107 lbs and she has lost 65lbs amazing right? so i am doing the program so i can wear the dress i bought years ago which is gorgeous and this way i will look just as good as when we first started going out. BUT 2 weeks ago I felt like trying on dresses for fun and ended up LOVING a new dress...now I am torn. What should I do? here is a pic of the new dress I like: Bonny MT Enterprises Co. Ltd. - Celebrating 20 years of Elegance and Quality what do you think of this dress? I don't have a pic of the dress I already have but maybe i will get one up soon. Thanks for the advice.
  13. I would say TA is a good start. get a mexico brochure from the TA, check out the ratings and pics of the resorts then go on this forum and do a search for the ones you are interested in. also another one I checked out was trip advisor ...i know a lot of people don't like it but its brutally honest which i like and need. also make sure you check out each resorts wedding packages first before committing to one, there are big differences with wedding prices from resort to resort. I suggest Bahia because you can play at all 3 resorts also they are very kid friendly with decent prices for different types of budgets for your guests. Good Luck! Ah, i remember those nights wheni was up till 3am reading reviews upon reviews
  14. Phillybride, i feel for you. The whole point of doing a DW is to have an awesome wedding at a fraction of the price at a beautiful setting. I wasnt even thinking about an AHR but after reading yours i now want to do one. BUT if we do it, it will be really casual. a barbeque maybe? Its about spending time with your friends and as much as it is nice to have a whole reception with full on dinner, drinks etc and sweets. Is there a place where you could go outdoors? have like a luau theme, etc get it catered? good luck, i am not much help
  15. that is awesome! i love it...any idea roughly how much it would be? also did u send her a picture to work with i guess? thanks

Any suggestions for a fun afternoon or day outing or activity? Thanks! How about getting massages on the beach? most resorts have like 1 hr massages on the beach for $40, the going out for lunch and then going into playa for some shopping and mani pedi's to get ready for the big day?
  17. really cute song! thanks for sharing
