HAHA!!! I've been wanting a new scale, and FI said last night he was thinking about getting me one for christmas but decided not to, cause we open all our presents w/ his family and he was afraid that his parents & SIL would have gotten really upset that he bought me a scale. Then I told him, i was REALLY wanting one!

We had an underwater disposable last year & were not really impressed (especially since it was a dull day). Thanks for the thought though! You should definitely invest in the housing. Thats what we have, and they are GREAT! We travel all the time and anytime we have a chance we get in water. We love to take it out boogie boarding, surfing, snorkeling. And it works great for pictures in the rain too!
  3. We have been looking for flutes for a LONG time. We just can't seem to find some that both of us like. Although we did see a set that was personalized w/ just the first letter of their last name, and we really liked this. We thought it looked a little nicer than have both of our names and a wedding date. So, I decided to etch my own. It's actually a bit harder than it sounds. Mostly just time consuming to get it perfect. Our last name starts w/ a G so I just put a G on the flute, we're going to glue the small starfish on w/ a fuschia ribbon. All in all, we really think its worth it. I bought the flutes from Pier 1 for $2 each. I spent $5 on the etching cream. I then just printed out the g and taped it onto contact paper. Put the contact paper on the flute, used a small utility knife to cut out the g. then removed the cut out g from the contact paper and smeared etching cream all over it wait a couple minutes and wash it off. VOILA! We really like it, and it only cost $9 to do the set. We're thinking about doing 8 more for the entire bridal party, and then we'll have a set of 10 champagne flutes for our house. And, they won't have the wedding date etc, it will just elegantly have a g on them. Here is the one I did last night
  4. Here is a pic of her shirt now that its clean, sorry it took so long! I think they look great, and its so cheap.
  5. It's just north of Tulum... I guess that's the easiest way to explain it, since you hope to have your wedding at Deams Tulum
  6. YAY I'm so excited. We're getting married on the beach at Akumal Bay and then our reception is in a palapa right there. We're big snorkelers and LOVE Akumal Bay. We just snorkelled the Great Barrier Reef this summer, and we all agreed that of all the places we've snorkeled (Hawaii, Barrier Reef, Belize, west coast, etc) Akumal is BY FAR THE BEST!!!!
  7. This is such a great cause, thanks for bumping this again! Remember girls when you donate them you can use them for a tax write-off. Also you can donate your flowers to local hospitals and use that as a write-off and brighten someones day!
  8. Congrats and I'm sure you can find plenty of info on Half Moon bay in the wedding reviews!!
  9. Congratulations and there is so much information on here. Utilize the search tool and you'll find more than you imagined!
  10. I also agree. It depends on when you want to do your wedding. It's full-on wedding season for Mexico and Caribbean right now. But I think if you find a resort that has availability you'll be able to easily get it done. Good luck!
  11. We have a dog and he always has a Christmas bone. He gets a HUGE Christmas bone w/ a big bow. Then we do a stocking w/ toys (tennis balls, loofa dogs, biscuits, etc)

EXCLUSIVE: Heidi Montag's Mom: I Give Her Marriage Six Months Wednesday December 3, 2008 Buzz up! Heidi Montag's mom opens up in the new issue of Us Weekly about her "devastation" over her perceived loss of her daughter to Spencer Pratt - whom, she says, may have even drugged Montag before their surprise Mexico elopement. "He's manipulative and seems to have power over Heidi," Darlene Egelhoff, 46, told Us in an exclusive interview from her home in Crested Butte, Colorado the day after Montag, 22, blew off Thanksgiving with her family to stay with Pratt in Cabo San Lucas., the site of her Nov. 20 elopement. "I would like to see a blood test from Mexico. It wouldn’t surprise me if he had her drugged." "Spencer has tried to cut everyone out of her life," Egelhoff tells Us. "I've been honest with Heidi, and it's caused our relationship to decline. I'm more devastated about that than the marriage, because I'm confident the marriage won't work out." Egelhoff - who divorced Montag's dad when she was just 3 and admits she rushed into things too - says they used to be inseparable. "She was my Velcro, always attached to me," says Egelhoff. "I want the best for my daughter - and he's definitely not it. I think Spencer wants to possess Heidi more than marry her." Adds Egelhoff - who famously fought with Pratt, 25, on The Hills: "God says love your enemies, but I never expected it to be my son-in-law." So how long does she give their marriage? "Six months," she says. "I think it's the biggest mistake Heidi's ever made," Egelhoff adds. In the new issue of Us Weekly, Montag responds, telling Us she didn't want Egelhoff present at her nuptials because she was "starting so much drama.†"She should be happy I found someone I love," the bride tells Us. "Some people go their entire lives without finding that." Adds Pratt, who famously calls Egelhoff "Stalker Mom": "I think her mom needs to take a real fat chill pill and be happy for her daughter." For more details on the devastating phone call Montag made to her mom to announce her marriage, how Pratt is ripping apart Montag's bond with her family and a first look at the couple’s honeymoon pictures, pick up the newest issue of Us Weekly, on stands now. Did you see the aftershow Monday night w/ Stephanie Pratt. She talked a little bit about this article. She doesn't get along w/ Spencer, but she really only cares about her daughters happiness. This is kind of the "classic relationship" of in-laws. Some of us are lucky to have great relationships w/ our in-laws. Stephanie also said that Heidi's mom called her mom immediately to apologize. Alot of what was written was taken out of context or exaggerated..... SURPRISE from US magazine!!!! I don't think its a shocker at all that their wedding will be on The Hills. There wedding was gonna be on the show from the beginning before their "break." I think the worst thing about the whole ordeal is how their families found out. It doesn't really bother me that they eloped. How many girls on BDW have family drama? Their family doesn't agree with having a DW or they don't want to come, etc. But it doesn't hold us back, it's our wedding, its about you and your FI. Many people get eloped. I think in a normal situation it would be ok to get eloped and not tell your family until you got home, but w/ them they probably should have said right away cause it was on a magazine cover right after. I think Spencer is a jerk from what I see, but I'm sure alot of that is because that is what MTV wants us to think so they don't show his sweet side. He obviously really likes her cause he's been dying to marry her, but he's just a guy when it comes to understanding how to handle situations. All in all, I wish them happiness! There relationship isn't half as bad as 75% of the Bridezillas! on WE
  13. Have you PM'd Leia? I searched all night the night you posted it, and couldn't find it.

I'm not sure what kind of material your coolers are, but I when I think of a 6-pk cooler I think of it either being hard plastic, or out of nylon. Here is a place that has paper for nylon Vinyl Cutters, Heat Presses & Accessories, Heat Transfer Vinyl & Screen Printing Machines - Imprintables Warehouse If they aren't nylon that site has all kinds of transfer paper. If they are nylon you have to have your iron on a very low setting so you don't melt them.
  15. Yep! I get them at walmart or target and there $7 or $8.
  16. I buy the stretchable ones so that when they are washed, or she pulls on her shirt it doesn't show lines where it was stretched. And the instructions say to iron for a certain amount of time, and then let cool and peel. I think it just cools back to the paper, so I iron the shirt first then lay the paper down, and iron til the edges roll up and then peel of when its hot. I think it looks alot better than letting it cool, plus if there is a part that doesn't just peel right off you can iron right there and it comes right up.
  17. I haven't used the stamp-on, but we use the other kind, but we buy avery brand. I make SEVERAL shirts for my daughter. She has a viking one I made that she wears EVERY weekend for the football game. She drools all over it, gets food all over it. And every week I soak it in baby oxy clean and wash it, and it still looks great. Here is a picture: Its really dirty so I will wash it today and take another pic. I think the avery iron-ons work GREAT!
  18. If you go to the locogringo site you can find transportation on there. We personally have found it easiest to drive ourselves around RM, but there are plenty of services that will take you where you would like to go. Look into services or you can go into each town and look at the services in that town
  19. Ok first of all, I think you are so cute! I think that shade of brown would look GREAT on you. Honestly I think you should do both, but i know it would be quite a change. So, if I have to choose one i say color first.
  20. i chose pink & white roses. I think that because you have so much going on w/ just pink (aisle decor, petals, and centerpieces) having an all pink will just blend in and not really stand out. I love callas they are my favorite, although i think they look weird w/ an all white dress. Because they are more off-white I think they look better w/ an off-white or ivory dress. I think that have a multi-color bouquet would really stand out. I personally think you should go for adding an extra color into your bouquet or multiple pinks like these: Good luck! Whatever you choose will be great!
  21. So, I love these, but I need a couple new ones. My stepdad doesn't drink so giving him an alcohol related shirt isnt' going to work. Although, he LOVES mountain dew. But I want it to be funny. And maybe some ideas for kids shirts
