I think they would be really cute in wicker balls, but you'd only need one light. Carrying through customs is easy. I'm not assembling mine until I'm there so i have tons of lanterns all folded down and then I have 2 LED lights & 1 battery for each lantern and i have 70 lanterns. All my LED lights & batteries fit in a 6 x 8 envelope. Simple!

So I recently decided I wanted hair flowers, but i want 3. I keep deciding on so many last minute things i need to start cutting down on my constant spending, especially since I want 3 hair flowers. i went to Pier 1 and found a orchid stem, I really wanted green but they only had the yellow/orange and really like them, plus it was something a little different so every isn't so matchy matchy. I just glued the flowers on bobby pins cause thats how i need them. I LOVE em! I made 6 for $5 so i have 3 and then one for each of my BM's. Of course here are pics. My hair won't be quite like this and of course my sister will be doing my hair, and do it MUCH MUCH better! And the flowers will be separated out a little and not all covered up but i had a hard time getting it quite right. Sorry the pics aren't that great, I broke my small digital camera and I don't have a tripod so trying to hold my SLR behind my head and get a good pic was a little tricky!

Can pix be retrieved from an old broken phone?
Jacilynda replied to Jacqueline's topic in Random Thoughts
verizon must have just got new stuff! cause i buy a new vzw phone at least every six months and when I got one in Feb they couldn't transfer my pics w/ the machine, FSIL is the saleswoman we always go to so she gets sales out of us and her boss loves us so he gives us AMAZING cell deals! But for vzw you should go online and put in the backup thing, some phones you can back up w/out having to get online, so if your phone is crushed or lost or something happens like it keeps resetting (they have to be able to turn the phone on and have it be stable for a certain amount of time to tranfer) and they can't transfer your stuff its all backed up on your acct -

Girls who are just wanting one, and if she doesn't want to split, she's not charging anymore than they originally cost. they're only $24.80! http://www.forever21.com/product.asp...263134&Page=3# -
LOL bananas! they really don't get this! Simistar THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! for posting this. i know it must have been hard at the time although I bet it feels good to let it out! Your wording was fantastic and very tastefully done. Since i've been on BDW I have seen lots of requests on his work yet there hasn't been any responses. I personally feel if you see someones work and its fantastic and you want it you go for it, majority of people are this way. I think it really says something about someone when several brides are requesting reviews. And it makes a lot of sense after all the emails I'm reading. to me it kind of sounds like brides love his work but once they have contacted him they are a bit worried/weirded out/put off and want to know reviews to see if its worth it. Don't let his threatening of the forum affect you. I hope he doesn't start harrassing you. If he does ignore him, make a folder in your inbox for him and just put them in there, brush it off. HE HAS DONE THIS TO HIMSELF! this forum has amazing women (yourself included) and some of these girls I've become friends with. but really for me I live for planning threads and reviews. I get sooooo much inspiration from planning threads and reviews are so helpful!!!! I'm glad you posted this review, others need to know! I also have to agree you looked amazing on your wedding day and I you seemed sooo genuinely happy!!! I'm glad some of his photos did this for you and that you have some great photos from your guests. Story by photo- what amazing offer!!! this is why I love BDW members. We're all here for each other.

We ARE moving to the UK for a bit ... we leave tomorrow!
Jacilynda replied to LCBride2007's topic in Chit Chat Corner!
I'm really excited for you! Joe and I lived in Botswana for just over a year. We did have family come as well, but really I loved the time w/out our family ALOt!!! I really hear you on the SAHM!!!! Although I have to be honest if we ever had a chance to move somewhere else there's a 99.9% that I would instantly say yes! We're young its a great experience, and really great one for a family! I'm so glad things are working out for your house and I hope its very family & kid friendly! How exciting is it for a young child to say they lived in another country for some time? I'm sure you'll grow into, probably just as you're about to leave ! HA! -
this thread is kind of funny it goes back and forth between what people think the best budget item for them and what really cost the most. Photography was a big deal for us! Although it would have been our biggest expense as our package is $6400 but we worked an amazing deal exchanging cost for travel, their flights, room, food and such for an extra 4 days so they could have a mini vacay! But really we're spending the most on food/rental fees for our reception

Jr bridesmaid instead of flower girl?
Jacilynda replied to DCcook's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
We are having 3 BM and 3 GM a flower girl (our daughter) and a Junior GM who's 11. We wanted someone to walk down w/ our daughter, she's only a year old so we thought she might need some guidance, we don't have any young boys who can walk so Joe's cousin is being our junior gm/ring bearer -
thanks for letting other girls know this. I just wanted to touch on something you mentioned. If you book your travel on Orbitz, Expedia, travelocity, etc it is their responsibility to call you when changes/cancellations are made. So Delta or Marriott whatever aren't required to call you or email you, the online booking resource you used is, and it is VERY common for them not to notify you. they mostly notify you through email so make sure they aren't in your junk. But as a warning if you ever book through them for anything make sure you check in on your stuff all the time, especially as your travel gets closer!
